Getting started on the water

Step
In short Pick a ship, get used to sailing it, then start experimenting with ways to sink it.

When you first load in, your only job is to choose a ship and head out to sea. The ocean is endless, so you have plenty of room to practice before you start chasing badges.

  1. Choose a ship more than 40 ships and boats are available, so pick one that looks interesting and launch it.
  2. Type the sink command enter /sink in the chat to watch your ship go down for the first time; it is the fastest way to see the core mechanic.
  3. Check your weapons and tools more than ten weapons and five tools are available, so look through them before you approach an island with pirates.

Tips

The map is an endless ocean. Sail in different directions and keep an eye on the coastlines of any land you spot.

Tips worth knowing
  • Somewhere out on the ocean there is a secret island — reaching it earns you the Secret Island badge.
  • A character named Zair is hiding in the world; find him, complete his quest, and you receive both the Zair's Pearl badge and a special in-game reward.
  • Islands are also where pirates spawn, so approaching them means you will want weapons ready.
  • The Squid Game mode is another activity available in the game — win it once to earn the Squid Game Winner! badge.
