OverviewWorld of Tugboat is a Thai river-navigation simulator on Roblox where you pilot a small tugboat and tow cargo barges to their destinations along narrow waterways. This guide covers how to start out, where to sail, and how to share the river safely with other players.

How to get started
Step
When you load in, the game asks you to choose where you want to begin. Each spawn point has a tugboat waiting for you, and from there you pick which type of cargo barge you want to tow.
- Choose a spawn point Bor Phong North, Bor Phong South, or Tha Lan (the cement factory) are your three options.
- Spawn your tugboat call the boat at whichever dock you chose.
- Pick your cargo barge decide between a cement barge or a stone barge, loaded or empty.
- Check the destination follow the on-screen directions to figure out which way to head.

Sharing the river with other players
Tips
Up to ten players can be in the same session at once, all using the same waterways. Narrow stretches mean you can easily block or be blocked by someone coming the other way.
- In tight channels, wait for an oncoming boat to clear before you commit to the passage.
- On wider sections of river, multiple boats can move at the same time without trouble.
- Watch how other players are moving and give them enough space to correct their course.

Glossary
Glossary- Tugboat
- The small powered boat you control, used to tow cargo barges from one dock to another.
- Towing
- Pulling a barge behind your tugboat, which is how cargo gets moved between docks in the game.
- Barge
- A flat cargo vessel that carries cement or stone.
- Spawn point
- One of the three docks where your tugboat appears at the start of a session: Bor Phong North, Bor Phong South, or Tha Lan.
- Tha Lan
- The cement-factory dock and the newer sailing area, featuring a longer route with narrower channels and more curves.
Common questions
FAQHow many players can be in the same session?
Up to ten players share the same river at once.
What is the difference between a loaded barge and an empty one?
A loaded barge carries extra weight, which changes how it responds when you manoeuvre. An empty barge is lighter.
What characterises the Tha Lan route?
The Tha Lan route is longer, the channels are narrower, and there are more bends throughout.
