Escape the Cave
The core loop every run follows
StepYou start with nothing but a pickaxe. From that point the game asks you to repeat one cycle until you break through to the exit.
- Mine the rock wall strike the wall with your pickaxe to pull out stone and minerals.
- Carry your haul to the cart walk everything back and sell it to collect money.
- Check tool prices before leaving the cart area, see whether you have enough to buy or upgrade something.
- Upgrade one tool improve your tools as your money allows.
- Return to the wall feel the difference before deciding what to do next.
Choosing your miner class
WarnAt the start of every game you pick one of nine miner classes, each with its own ability. Once the run begins you cannot switch; if you want a different class you have to start a brand-new game. The difficulty choice — Easy or Hard — happens at the same time, and Easy is suited to first-time players learning the mining and selling loop.

Chapter 4 & more!
What each tool does
TableFour tools are available to buy and upgrade beyond the starting pickaxe.
| Pickaxe | your starting tool. |
| Drill | mines faster than the pickaxe and can be upgraded further after purchase. |
| Dynamite | destroys a wide area of rock in one go. |
| Car | helps with moving around and hauling minerals. |
Minerals and where they come from
TipsFour types of valuables are hidden in the rock.
- Gold, emeralds, and rubies all come out of the rock as you dig through the wall.
- Diamonds are hidden inside the rock in concealed spots — you find them by digging.
- Keep pushing the tunnel forward even while you watch for gems — the exit is at the far end.
Spending gems wisely
CheckGems pay for a different set of things than your regular mining money does.
- Confirm which currency the shop screen is asking for before you buy.
- Class rolls are not guaranteed avoid pouring all your gems into re-rolls before covering other needs.
- The Money Box is a selling aid available for gems; consider it when the walk back to the cart is eating too much time.
Playing with friends
TipsUp to three friends can join your session for a four-player total.
- Split mining and selling so one player hauls while another keeps digging.
- Gang up on a single rock to break it faster.
- Say one word in chat — 'selling' or 'buying' — so nobody wastes a trip duplicating what someone else is already doing.
Reaching the ending and going further
StepThe whole run points toward one destination: the far end of the tunnel.
- Keep the tunnel moving the exit is at the very end.
- Do not stall the tunnel just to search for gems.
- Hit the tunnel exit arriving at the end unlocks the ending.
- Try Hard mode next it gives you a new time to beat.
- Change one thing per run swap just one upgrade order or tool choice so you can tell what actually made you faster.
