About

Overview

Build Anything With Friends! is a free-building game where you place, color, and destroy blocks however you like — no goals, no enemies, just creativity. Up to ten players can share one room, so you can build solo or call in friends. This guide covers the basics, how to play with others, and how the badge system gives you something to aim for.

Building toward your first badges

Tips
In short Chasing badges naturally pushes you to try more of what the game offers.

Eight badges are built into the game, and most of them come from just playing normally. The ones tied to likes from other players take longer and are worth treating as long-term goals.

Tips worth knowing
  • Keep placing blocks steadily — 100 placements earns you Heavy Builder, and that number adds up faster than it sounds.
  • Stay in a session for a full hour to unlock A Long Day; building or exploring both count toward the time.
  • Find the vehicle in the game and drive it once — that single action unlocks Licensed Driver.
  • Invite a friend through the in-game menu to earn Better Together; you only need to do it once.
  • When another player gives your base a like, you earn Getting Noticed — so build something you are proud of and let people see it.
  • Collecting 50 likes in total unlocks Local Celebrity, which is the longest badge to earn and a good reason to keep improving your builds over multiple sessions.

Playing with up to ten friends

Check
In short The room fits up to ten players and multiplayer features cost nothing extra.

One room holds up to ten players at the same time, and the core multiplayer features cost nothing extra. Use the in-game menu to invite friends by username before you start building.

  • Invite a friend through the in-game menu to bring them into your world.
  • Try a build challenge ask a friend to give you a theme for your next build.
03

What to build when you have no ideas

Tips

Every session is a blank slate, which can feel overwhelming. These starting points get something on the ground quickly so momentum builds on its own.

Tips worth knowing
  • Recreate a location from a game or show you enjoy.
  • Ask a friend to give you a theme.
  • Use a badge as your next goal — deciding to earn Licensed Driver, for example, gives the session a clear direction.
04

Staying safe in shared rooms

Warn
In short Protecting your personal information is the most important habit to build.

Because rooms can hold up to ten players including people you do not know, it is worth keeping a few rules in mind every session.

Worth watching out for
Never share your real name, address, school, or any other personal details with other players.
Ignore anyone who asks for your password or tries to send you to an outside website.
Block and report players who offer cheats or behave in a way that makes you uncomfortable.
If something happens that worries you, tell a parent or another trusted adult straight away.

Common questions

FAQ

Can my friends and I build in the same world at the same time?

Yes. Use the in-game menu to invite friends by username, and they will join your world in real time. A single room fits up to ten players.

Will my build still be there the next time I log in?

Yes. The world saves automatically, so everything you placed stays exactly where you left it when you come back.

Is there a winner or a way to lose?

No. There are no win or lose conditions. You set your own goals, whether that is finishing a build, earning a badge, or just experimenting with a friend.

How does the like system work?

Other players can send a like to your base if they enjoy your build. Your first like unlocks the Getting Noticed badge, and reaching 50 total likes unlocks Local Celebrity.

Do I need to spend Robux to access any of the main features?

No. Placing blocks, changing colors, destroying structures, and inviting friends are all available without spending anything.
