About
OverviewTrident Survival is an island-based PvPvE survival game where you gather resources, craft weapons and armor, build a base, and fight both NPCs and other players. Servers wipe every Friday at 2 PM Eastern Time, so every week is a fresh race to build your empire before the reset. This guide walks you through starting out, building a solid base, handling combat, and staying alive long enough to matter.

First steps after joining
StepWhen you first load in, you have very little and the island is full of threats. Head to the settings tab right away to check your key bindings and adjust anything that feels awkward. From there, focus on collecting wood, stone, and other nearby resources before wandering into more dangerous areas.
- Check key bindings open the settings tab and remap anything that does not feel natural.
- Gather resources nearby wood, stone, and similar materials are what every early build needs most.
- Pick a safe starting area stay away from spots where hostile NPCs are thick on the ground.
- Build a basic shelter even a simple structure gives you a place to store what you have collected.
- Get at least one weapon going into any fight unarmed is a quick way to lose everything.

Daily survival routine
CheckTrident Survival rewards players who show up consistently. Each session should follow roughly the same pattern so nothing important gets skipped. Because the server resets every Friday at 2 PM Eastern Time, you want your base and gear in good shape by Thursday at the latest.
- Check your base for damage and repair anything that was broken since your last session.
- Loot structures around the island to top up your resource stockpile.
- Craft new weapons and armor with whatever materials you have spare.
- Expand your base using leftover resources more layers of defense pay off later.
- Finish major upgrades before the Friday reset so you are not caught unprepared.
Base design and defense
TipsA single wall will not stop a determined raider. Think in layers — an outer perimeter, a middle ring, and a hardened inner area where your most valuable items sit. Place weapons storage and supplies deep inside the structure where attackers have to fight through everything to reach them.
- Use multiple defensive layers so raiders have to break through several barriers before reaching your core.
- Put important storage at the back of your base, not near any entrance.
- Surround critical facilities with your strongest available materials to resist explosives.
- Include hidden rooms or secret passages to protect your most valuable items as a last resort.
Weapons and armor choices
TableYou do not need every weapon in the game, but you do need range. Covering close quarters, mid-to-long range, and structure destruction gives you an answer for almost any threat.
| Melee weapons | fast attacks that reward good movement and close-range skill. |
| Guns | safer at distance but require you to manage ammunition carefully. |
| Explosives | highly effective at breaking down structures but limited in other situations. |
Raiding and being raided
TipsOther players are the biggest threat on the island. If you decide to raid someone else, go in with a plan rather than just charging their walls.
- Scout a target before attacking — understand their layout and weak points first.
- Bring all three weapon types on a raid so no defensive setup stops you cold.
- Design your own base assuming it will be hit.
- Include hidden rooms or secret passages so defenders can protect valuables from an unexpected angle.
- Never exceed the maximum clan member limit — going over results in a ban.
When you keep dying or getting raided
WarnIf things are going badly, run through these checks before changing anything else. The cause is almost always one of a handful of fixable problems.

Common questions
FAQDoes the weekly server reset wipe everything I built?
Yes — every Friday at 2 PM Eastern Time, all buildings and items on the server are deleted.
Can I play on more than one device?
Trident Survival is available on PC, Xbox, and Mobile (in beta). Your saves are tied to a specific server, so switching devices on the same server keeps your progress intact.
Should I join a clan as a beginner?
Joining a clan lets you share resources and defend your base with teammates. Check the clan's current member count before joining, because exceeding the maximum member limit results in a ban.
How is fighting NPCs different from fighting other players?
NPCs follow predictable patterns, so once you learn them you can handle encounters more reliably. Other players use unpredictable tactics, so PvP fights demand stronger equipment and sharper decision-making.
