About

Overview

Block Wars is a team PvP game inspired by Bed Wars, where you mine blocks, defend your core, and try to destroy every other team's core before the Storm closes in.

First steps when the match begins

Step
In short Mine blocks right away and start walling off your core before you do anything else.

The moment a match starts, your pickaxe is your most important tool. Every block you mine becomes a resource you can spend on defense or gear. Get your core surrounded before you think about pushing anywhere.

  1. Grab your pickaxe start mining blocks from the stage as soon as the match loads.
  2. Stack blocks around your core build a wall so enemies cannot reach it easily.

02

Core defense that holds up under pressure

Tips
In short Multiple layers of wall and constant repairs keep your core alive long enough to win.

Your core is the one thing you cannot afford to lose. A single thin wall will not stop a coordinated enemy push. Building several layers and patching gaps the moment they appear is what separates teams that survive from teams that get eliminated early.

Tips worth knowing
  • Build at least two or three layers of blocks around your core, not just one.
  • Repair broken sections immediately during a fight rather than waiting until the enemy is gone.
  • Design your wall so there is no straight path from the outside directly to the core.
03

Gear upgrades

Tips
In short Spending blocks on gear makes you stronger in combat, but only if your core is already well protected.

Blocks serve two purposes: they build walls and they pay for gear upgrades. Stronger weapons and better armor give you a real edge when you push into enemy territory.

Tips worth knowing
  • Upgrade weapons and armor using blocks to improve your combat strength.
  • Keep enough blocks for repairs while still upgrading over time.
04

Pushing into enemy territory

Warn
In short Never push alone — a coordinated group attack on the enemy core is far more effective than picking off individual players.

Once your core is secure and your gear is upgraded, you can start moving toward other teams. The goal is to break through their walls and destroy their core. Enemies will fight back, so bringing teammates and using freshly placed blocks as cover on the way in makes a real difference.

Worth watching out for
Going in alone against a full team is far less effective than pushing as a group.
Place blocks as a shield while you advance toward the enemy core.
05

The Storm and end-game timing

Check
In short The Storm forces a decision — either destroy the remaining cores before it arrives or make your own core tough enough to outlast it.

The Storm builds over time and eventually makes the whole stage dangerous for everyone. Every team needs to decide whether they are on track to win by destroying cores or whether they need to survive.

  • The Storm will arrive over time it deals damage and eventually makes the whole stage dangerous.
  • Reinforce your own core heavily if you plan to outlast the Storm rather than win by elimination.
  • Stop pushing and return to defense if the Storm is close and enemy cores are still standing.
06

Quests, kits, and free-to-play viability

Summary
In short Quests give you meaningful rewards without spending anything, and kits add perks but are not required to compete.

Completing quests unlocks rewards as you play. Kits can be purchased for special perks, but the game is playable without them.

  • Quests complete them during normal play to unlock rewards at no cost.
  • Kits purchasable packages that provide special perks.
  • Free path quest rewards alone are enough to keep progressing through the game.

Common questions

FAQ

Can I enjoy Block Wars without spending Robux?

Yes. Completing quests earns you rewards just by playing normally. Kits offer extra perks but are not necessary.

What happens when my team's core is destroyed?

Your team is eliminated from the match. The last team with a surviving core wins.

Is it better to kill enemies or attack their core?

Targeting the core comes first. Destroying the enemy core removes that team from the match entirely. Push toward the core with your team rather than chasing individual fights.
