OverviewSpider Rising is an open-world action game by ThreadLine Games where you swing through a massive city, stop crimes, and fight other players. Up to 12 players share a server in a mix of PvP and PvE play, and the game runs on PC, console, and mobile.

Your first steps in the city

In short
Finishing the tutorial before anything else gives you a solid foundation for everything the game throws at you.
When you join for the first time you automatically earn the Rise Begins badge. From there, run through the tutorial to earn the With Great Power badge. Once the tutorial is done, head out and stop your first crime to pick up the City Protector badge.
- Join the game the Rise Begins badge is awarded the moment you first load in.
- Complete the tutorial work through every prompt until the With Great Power badge appears.
- Find a crime watch for a crime notification in the city and head toward it.
- Stop the crime defeat the threat on the scene to earn the City Protector badge.

Reaching the highest point and arriving fast
Tips
Above It All is earned by reaching the highest point in the city. Right Place, Right Time requires you to arrive at an active crime within 10 seconds of it starting, so you need to react the moment a notification appears.
Tips worth knowing
- Use Web Pull to snap yourself toward a building when you need a quick change of direction.
- Dive from height to drop straight down to a ground-level crime scene.

Working toward 50 crime stops
CheckThe Guardian of the City badge requires stopping 50 crimes in total. The city also has PvP, so other players can interact while you are working toward a crime stop.
- Check the screen for crime notifications so you never miss one nearby.
- Use Dodge (Left Ctrl on PC) to avoid taking hits during fights.
- Mix Uppercut and Web Shot together during fights.
- On console, use Y to Web Pull an enemy toward you.

Glossary- Web Swing
- The main way to travel — you shoot a web at a building and swing forward through the air.
- Web Shot
- An attack that fires a web at an enemy to hit or restrain them.
- Web Pull
- Shoots a web to yank yourself toward a surface quickly, or to drag an enemy closer to you.
- Dive
- A fast downward drop from height.
- Uppercut
- An upward strike that launches an enemy into the air.
- Spidey Sense
- A console-only action on D-Pad Up.
- PvP
- Player versus player — sections of the game where other real players can fight you.
- PvE
- Player versus environment — fighting the game's own enemies, such as criminals, rather than other players.
- Badge
- A permanent Roblox achievement awarded when you hit a specific goal in the game.
