MonsterVerze is a roleplay game where your character dies and wakes up in the afterlife, surrounded by monsters. You explore eerie locations, dress up your avatar, build friendships with NPCs, and work through a story told in acts. This guide walks you through getting started, progressing through the story, and making the most of every system the game offers.
In shortFollow Skella's lead from the moment you load in and you won't miss anything important.
When you first load in, a cutscene plays where your character gets hit by a truck and wakes up in the afterlife. After the cutscene, an NPC named Skella appears — she is your afterlife advisor and walks you through the dress-up system. Once she finishes, you arrive at the Graveyard. Arrows on the screen point you toward Skella, so follow them.

Common questions
FAQ
What happens if I die during a fight?
You respawn and can jump back into the fight. When fighting Khalil in Act 2, his health does not reset when you die, so you can chip away at him across multiple attempts.
How do I start the main story quests?
After the tutorial, go to the Train Station and talk to the Train Conductor. He will tell you to take the train to Eerie High for Orientation Day, which kicks off Act 1.
Why is my pet timer resetting?
The incubation timer resets if you leave the game before the 20 minutes are up. You need to stay in an active session for the full duration.
