Starting out — tutorial and first race
StepWhen you first load in, a tutorial introduces the basic controls and rules. Work through it completely — you earn the Ready to Race badge when you finish, and that opens up proper competitive racing. Your first race win earns you the First Win badge, so jump into a race as soon as the tutorial is done.
- Complete the tutorial earning the Ready to Race badge confirms you know the basics.
- Win that first race the First Win badge drops the moment you take the win.
- Start saving winnings every race you win adds cash to your total, building toward bigger goals.
The three drag classes
TableAll three classes run on the same strip, but what you are competing for is different in each one.
| Bracket Racing | you declare your target time before the run, then try to match it as closely as possible. |
| Index Racing | a set time standard is given, and you try to get your run as close to that number as you can. |
| Heads-Up Racing | pure speed decides the winner, with no handicaps or target times involved. |
Building your garage
TipsCars are not just transport — collecting them is one of the main progression tracks. You can both buy and sell cars, which means trading is a real strategy for growing your fleet. Owning five cars earns the Building a Garage badge, and reaching twenty-five cars earns the Collector badge.
- Buy and sell cars — selling ones you no longer need frees up funds for new ones.
- Aim for five cars first to unlock the Building a Garage badge.
- Hunting for rare cars is a designed part of the experience, not just a side activity.
- Keep pushing toward twenty-five cars for the Collector badge.
