The core loop

Step
In short Every action in the game feeds back into expanding your maze and earning more rewards.

The game runs on a simple cycle: build a maze, let visitors wander in, have monsters catch them, and use the rewards to buy more buildings and monsters. Monsters keep catching visitors even when you are offline, so rewards stack up whether you are playing or not. Log in regularly to collect what has built up and put it straight back into your maze.

  1. Place buildings lay down rooms and corridors to form your maze
  2. Set monsters position them inside the maze to catch visitors as they explore
  3. Collect rewards earn cash based on how many visitors your monsters catch
  4. Buy upgrades spend that cash on new buildings and stronger monsters
  5. Explore drop into your own maze or someone else's to see how it feels from the inside

Maze design that catches more visitors

Tips
In short A maze with plenty of branches and dead ends keeps visitors inside longer, giving your monsters more chances to catch them.

The layout of your maze directly affects how well your monsters perform. Visitors who get lost or double back spend more time inside, which means more opportunities for a monster encounter.

Tips worth knowing
  • Add multiple branching paths so visitors cannot simply walk straight through
  • Vary room sizes to break up the rhythm and create moments of tension
  • Tuck monsters into corners and blind spots where visitors will not see them coming
  • Place decorative buildings throughout to build a genuinely unsettling atmosphere

Weaker vs. stronger monsters

Table
In short Cheaper monsters cover ground early on, while pricier ones catch visitors more reliably.

Monsters come at different price points and with different catching ability. Early in the game your budget is small, so weaker monsters let you cover the whole maze without running out of cash. As rewards accumulate, swapping key positions over to stronger monsters pays off.

Weaker monsterscheap enough to buy early and spread across the whole maze
Stronger monsterscost more but catch visitors far more reliably

Playing without spending Robux

Check
In short Daily logins and patient reinvestment of idle rewards are all you need to keep your maze growing for free.

Because monsters work offline, rewards keep accumulating on their own. Log in each day, collect everything that has built up, and reinvest it into buildings and monsters. Exploring other players' mazes is free for everyone.

  • Log in daily to collect offline rewards
  • Buy a new building or monster each session
  • Explore other mazes for free no cost, no catch

Surviving other players' mazes

Warn
In short Getting caught ejects you from the maze, so move carefully and give yourself time when the layout looks complex.

When you enter someone else's maze, the creator's monsters are working against you. Being caught does not end your game — you are simply pushed back out and can enter another maze straight away.

Worth watching out for
Getting caught by a monster ejects you from the maze, not out of the game
Complex mazes take real time to navigate

Common questions

FAQ

Do I earn rewards when I am not playing?

Yes. Monsters continue catching visitors while you are offline, so rewards keep stacking up. Log in each day to collect them and put the cash back into your maze.

What happens when a monster catches me in someone else's maze?

You are automatically ejected from that maze. It is not a game-over — you can jump straight into another maze or go back to building your own.

What should I do first when I start the game?

Use your starting rewards to buy a few basic buildings and lay out a simple maze. Each time more rewards come in, add another building or monster and gradually make the maze bigger.
