01

Your main goal and four pillars of play

Summary
In short Everything in the game feeds into one of four areas: exploring zones, surviving days, using the shop, or cooperating with teammates.

The game puts one objective above all others: rescue Canela. Getting there means pushing through zones, staying alive across multiple days, spending and selling at the shop, and leaning on teammates when things get hard.

  • Rescue Canela the story objective that ties every other activity together
  • Zone progress a numbered measure of how far into the world you have explored
  • Day survival a separate counter tracking how many days you have stayed alive
  • Shop a place to buy items and a pawn shop where you can sell goods you no longer need
  • Co-op reviving fallen friends and completing team objectives alongside other players

First things to do when you start

Step
In short Buying one item and reaching Zone 10 are two milestones the game tracks early on.

Head to the shop first, then turn your attention to exploring zones and surviving your first day. Do not skip the pawn shop either — selling your first item there is its own milestone.

  1. Visit the shop buy one item to unlock your first shopping milestone
  2. Try the pawn shop sell a good there to complete your first selling milestone
  3. Push to Zone 10 this is the natural first checkpoint as you explore
  4. Survive Day 1 staying alive through the first day is the earliest survival goal the game tracks
03

Special locations and what to do in them

Tips
In short The dojo, the bank, and the reactor areas each have a concrete objective.

Three distinct locations ask for specific actions rather than general exploring.

Tips worth knowing
  • In the dojo, your target is Sensei Panda — defeat this boss to clear the area.
  • In the bank, the goal is to blow up the safe.
  • Reactors can be destroyed; the game tracks a cumulative total toward a long-running goal of 100.
  • Freeing the first four caged pets is an early story beat.
04

Getting the most out of co-op

Check
In short Certain objectives can only be finished in a group.

Up to 25 players can share a single session. Some of what that group can accomplish together goes beyond anything a solo run can unlock, including a team-based rescue of Canela herself.

  • Revive teammates when they go down this is an action the game specifically rewards
  • Aim to clear the Canela rescue as a team of five for a co-op-exclusive achievement
05

Zone milestones worth targeting

Table
In short Zone 100 is the first major landmark, but the game continues all the way to at least Zone 500.

The game tracks your zone progress through a series of milestones. Each one below marks a point the game explicitly recognises.

06

Hard-mode challenges for experienced players

Warn
In short The speedrun and no-death runs are available once you can rescue Canela under normal conditions.

Once you have completed a standard run, the game offers two extra conditions. Both require you to rescue Canela, but with strict limitations.

Worth watching out for
The speedrun challenge requires you to rescue Canela in under 40 minutes.
The no-death challenge requires you to rescue Canela without dying even once.

Common questions

FAQ

What is the point of the game?

Your main goal is to rescue Canela. Along the way the game also tracks how many zones you have reached and how many days you have survived.

Can I play solo or do I need a team?

You can play solo. However, reviving a teammate and rescuing Canela as a five-person team are objectives that require other players, so some milestones are only reachable in co-op.

How do I use the shop and pawn shop?

The shop is where you buy items, and the pawn shop is where you sell goods you have collected. Both reward your first use.

How far do the zones actually go?

The game tracks milestones all the way to Zone 500.
