Getting started with the tutorial
StepWhen you first load in, the game puts you straight into a tutorial. Work through it to earn the Beat Tutorial badge, but know that multiplayer is still locked at that point. You unlock it by finding RainbowBrick after the tutorial is done.
- Earn the badge completing the tutorial gives you Beat Tutorial, which confirms you have the fundamentals down.
- Find RainbowBrick hunt for it after the tutorial ends; discovering it grants Multiplayer Access and opens up co-op play.

Activities available in the game
CheckBricklabs is built around experimenting with bricks rather than following a single storyline.
- Chemistry combine bricks and observe what happens; some bricks can only be discovered this way.
- Mining dig to collect raw bricks you cannot get elsewhere.
- Complex wiring connect components to build circuits and mechanical systems.
- Tree genetics grow and cross plants to produce new varieties.
- lt2 building use your collected bricks to construct whatever you can imagine on your plot.
Money badges and how to chase them
WarnThere is a full ladder of money badges tied to how much cash you have and how fast you earn it per minute. The per-minute badges get increasingly difficult, topping out at 100,000 dollars a minute for an extraordinary farm — and one special badge goes to whoever holds the all-time record for the most money made in a minute.
Collecting all 167-plus bricks
TipsThere are more than 167 unique bricks in the game, and gathering every single one earns you the Obtain All Bricks badge.
- Treat chemistry as a discovery tool — reactions can surface bricks you would not find any other way.
- Do not skip mining sessions; some bricks only come from digging.
- The Obtain All Bricks badge is your confirmation that the collection is truly complete.
Building on your plot and getting it reviewed
TipsOnce you claim a plot, you have your own space to construct whatever you want with the bricks you have collected. The game's owner and admins can visit and leave a reaction — positive or negative — and each outcome has its own badge.
- The owner approved and admin approved badges require your plot to be liked by someone with elevated access.
- The owner disapproved and admin disapproved badges exist too.
- Searching for a video on how to build a car in Bricklabs can give you ideas and techniques to apply to your own plot.
Playing with friends without spending anything
SummaryIf you want a quieter space to build or experiment with friends, private servers are available at no cost. RainbowBrick unlocks the general multiplayer mode but is not required to host or join a private server.
- Private servers free to create and use for any group of friends.
- RainbowBrick requirement needed for standard multiplayer access, not for private servers.
- Money badges unavailable in any multiplayer session.
Hidden and event discoveries
TipsA handful of badges sit outside the main progression and ask you to find things or meet people.
- Find the hidden character called Scoob somewhere in the game to earn his badge.
- Talk to all the turkeys during the relevant event to earn the pro thankgiver badge.
- Meeting an admin or the creator while they are in a session each have their own badge.

Common questions
FAQHow do I unlock multiplayer?
Complete the tutorial first — that earns the Beat Tutorial badge but does not open multiplayer on its own. After the tutorial, find RainbowBrick in the game world, and discovering it grants Multiplayer Access.
Why am I not getting money badges while playing with a friend?
Money badges only unlock in singleplayer. As soon as you are in any multiplayer session, the game stops counting progress toward them. Switch to a solo session and farm there.
Do I need to pay anything to play with friends?
No. Private servers are completely free to create and use. You do not need RainbowBrick to start one.
How do I find all the bricks?
You need to try every activity — chemistry, mining, wiring, tree genetics, and building — because certain bricks only appear through specific methods.
