Overview

Hug or Pass [TOWER] splits players into two roles: the Hugger, who decides whether to hug or pass on each Contender, and the Contenders, who try to win that hug. A room holds up to 28 players at once. This guide covers how both roles work and how to earn every badge.

The two roles and what each one does

Table

In short Your whole experience depends on which role you are playing, so understand both before you start.

Every session runs with one Hugger and a group of Contenders. The Hugger makes all the decisions; the Contenders compete to influence those decisions.

Contender	puts their best self forward to convince the Hugger to choose Hug

In short Taking the Hugger role unlocks its own badge and flips your whole objective for that round.

As the Hugger you are the decision-maker. Every Contender is trying to win you over.

Earn the role gain the Hugger position during a session
Make your call look at each Contender and choose Hug or Pass
Claim the badge becoming the Hugger unlocks the Become Picker! badge the moment you take the role

Glossary

Hugger: The player who looks at each Contender and chooses either Hug or Pass.
Contender: A player trying to convince the Hugger to choose Hug rather than Pass.
Outfit Creation Catalog: An in-game tool that lets you change how your character looks.

How do I earn likes?

Likes are earned as a Contender. Each milestone — 1, 10, 100, 500, and 1000 likes — unlocks a badge automatically.

What does the Outfit Creation Catalog do for me?

Opening it unlocks the Fashionista! badge.
