Your first steps when you load in

Step
In short Grabbing your free knife and playing a 1v1 first gives you the smoothest start.

Before your first match, open the code redemption screen — it's the white-and-purple box icon in the top-right corner of the screen. Type your code into the field marked ENTER CODE HERE, then hit REDEEM to collect your reward instantly.

How the two sides play differently

Table
In short Murderers and sheriffs have opposite goals, so your mindset needs to switch completely depending on which side you're on.

Every match splits players into two teams with different jobs. Knowing what your side is supposed to do stops you from wasting a round doing the wrong thing.

Murderersyour goal is to take down the opposing team's players.
Sheriffsyour goal is to stop and eliminate the murderers.
1v1 modeone player per side, the purest test of individual aim and movement.

The game gives you more than just aim to work with. Knives and guns handle very differently, and abilities you unlock as you play add another layer on top. Experiment until something clicks for you.
