Ophelia is a co-op horror puzzle game where up to eight players investigate a village full of disappearing residents and unsolved mysteries. This guide covers controls, how to work through chapters, difficulty modes, and the skin and currency systems so you can get moving without getting stuck.
In shortLearning the three core controls on your platform saves you from fumbling mid-investigation.
Ophelia gives you three tools you will use constantly: sprinting to cover ground fast, crouching to move quietly, and inspecting to examine objects and clues. On PC those are Left Shift, C, and I. On console they are L2, Circle, and Triangle.

Practice crouching so moving quietly becomes second nature
Press Inspect on every object that looks out of place
Console playersremember Circle for crouch and Triangle for inspect
Your flashlight is essential in dark areas, so have it ready before entering unlit rooms

Getting through puzzles without grinding to a halt
Tips
In shortPuzzles are built around the environment and story, so careful observation beats random guessing every time.
Each puzzle in Ophelia connects to the village setting rather than being random. If you are stuck on one puzzle, move to another area and come back. In co-op, splitting up to cover more rooms and then reporting back is an option.
Tips worth knowing
Use the Inspect function on anything that looks unusual
When one puzzle blocks you, explore a different room
Return to rooms you already cleared — clues can appear there after story events advance
In co-op, assign different players to different areas so information comes in from everywhere
Read any in-game text carefully before moving on
