Where to search on the map

Check
In short Covering every area thoroughly is the way to collect hidden-item badges.

Hidden items are spread across many different parts of the map. Some locations hold more than one secret, so check each area carefully before moving on.

  • Pizzeria interior a Shadow Freddy plush is hidden somewhere inside.
  • Sewers Phantom Freddy is lost down here, and a hidden chest holds the Redbear and Whiterabbit masks.
  • Lobby back area a locked door leads to the interrogation room; you need a key to open it.
  • Dumpster area Springtrash's mask was thrown in the trash.
  • Closet the Puppet hides a sad mask inside a closet somewhere on the map.
  • Hidden portal a concealed portal leads to a Glamrock Freddy mask and unlocks the Glamrock badge.

Extra secrets worth tracking down

Tips
In short Several one-of-a-kind secrets reward players who explore places that look unimportant.

Beyond the obvious areas, a handful of badges come from spots that are easy to walk past. Keep these in mind as you explore.

Tips worth knowing
  • A poster of Classic Withered Golden Freddy is hidden somewhere on the map and awards its own badge when found.
  • A door in the back of the lobby leads to the old version of the game — finding it earns the Secret Emblem badge.
  • A billboard can be cut using a grinder, which frees Rockstar Foxy's parrot Polly and gives you a badge.
  • A paycheck appears at a house every six days or five nights; it is a fake paycheck with a surprise and awards a badge.
  • A photo on the map can lead you to an abandoned place where a Gold Cool Fedora is waiting.

Common questions

FAQ

Can I play alone, or do I need a group?

The map is open for free-roam exploration on your own, so solo play works fine for hunting badges and secrets. You can also share a server with up to nine other players.

Why does my morph feel different from other characters?

Not every morph has been updated to the latest version yet, which causes some imbalance between characters. Each server reset brings new updates.

How do I unlock the room behind the locked door in the lobby?

You need to find a key located at the back of the lobby first. Once you have it, you can open the locked door and reach the interrogation room, which also awards the Secret Key badge.

Do the playtime badges stack, or do I need to earn each one separately?

Your total playtime builds up across all your sessions. The badges at one hour, twelve hours, one day, and one week unlock automatically as your total time reaches each milestone.
