How a round works
Summary
In short
Knowing the win conditions for each side shapes every decision you make during a round.
Each round splits players into two roles: hiders and seekers. Hiders shrink down and tuck themselves inside objects like furniture and boxes, trying to stay hidden until time runs out. Seekers hunt through the map and tag hiders; any hider who gets caught switches over to the seeker team. Seekers win by finding and tagging every last hider.

Getting started with coins, powers, and weapons

Playing rounds steadily earns you the coins you need to unlock better powers and weapons without spending anything.
Coins are the main currency, earned by playing rounds. You use them to unlock powers for hiders and weapons for seekers. You can also buy coins with Robux, but playing consistently is enough to build up a solid collection for free.

Staying hidden as a hider

In short
Moving between spots and using your power to throw seekers off are the two habits that keep you alive longest.
Sitting in the same object for the whole round is the fastest way to get found. Mixing up your position and using your power at the right moment buys you the time you need to outlast seekers.
Tips worth knowing
- Pick two or three backup hiding spots before the round begins so you always have somewhere to run
- Move to a new object if a seeker is getting close
- Use your power to distract or confuse seekers when they are nearby
- If you are playing with friends, spread out across different areas instead of clustering together

Searching efficiently as a seeker

In short
A seeker who divides the map into zones and focuses on the insides of objects will find hiders far faster than one who wanders at random.
Hiders can fit inside objects, so the inside of desks, boxes, and closets deserves more attention than open floor space. With multiple seekers, splitting the map into personal zones stops everyone from searching the same corner while other areas go untouched. Because hiders move around, areas you already cleared are worth a second sweep later in the round.
- Divide the map into zones and assign one zone to each seeker
- Check the inside of every object desks, boxes, and tight spaces are where hiders fit
- Revisit already-cleared zones near the end of the round, since hiders relocate as pressure builds

Most losing streaks come down to one of three things: weaker gear, predictable habits, or poor teamwork.
Before blaming luck, run through this list.
- Powers and weapons check whether you have unlocked stronger options you are not using yet; if not, earn more coins
- Predictability if you hide or search the same way every round, switch it up so opponents cannot read you
- Team coordination in group play, confirm that seekers are covering different zones and not overlapping
