Starting your first match

Step
In short Getting into a match is as simple as stepping on a platform and placing your first unit.

Everything begins in the lobby. Once you find a map you want to play, step onto one of the platforms to launch the match. From there, pick units from the panel at the bottom of the screen and set them down on the map — they attack enemies on their own from that point forward.

  1. Step on a platform this is what actually starts the match.
  2. Place your first unit on the map units automatically attack enemies within range.
  3. Watch your coins defeating enemies earns you coins you can spend on more placements mid-wave.
  4. Survive every wave clearing all waves wins the match and pays out a coin reward.

Choosing the right difficulty

Table
In short Start on Easy to learn the game, then move to Nightmare only once you have at least one Mythic unit.

The game offers different difficulty modes that scale in length, enemy health, and coin payout. Easy Mode has 20 waves and hands out 50 coins on completion, while Nightmare Mode runs to 50 waves and pays 600 coins. The jump between them is steep — Nightmare's final boss has over 2,500,000 HP compared to Easy's 28,000 HP boss.

Easy20 waves, 50 coins, final boss at 28,000 HP.
Hardpays 400 coins, final boss at 835,000 HP.
Nightmare50 waves, 600 coins, final boss above 2,500,000 HP; requires at least one Mythic unit.
Endless Modewaves never stop; no set win condition, purely a survival challenge.

Easy Mode wave-by-wave breakdown

Summary
In short Easy Mode follows a clean pattern that pairs one enemy type at a time before mixing them in the final waves.

The first twelve waves each focus on a single enemy type in groups of ten or twenty, giving you a clear preview of every threat. Waves 13 through 19 start mixing two types together and introduce the Large toilet. Wave 20 is the final boss wave, throwing Normal, Spider, Police, Assassin, DJ, and Large toilets at you alongside Boss Toilet.

  • Waves 1–12 single enemy type per wave, alternating groups of ten then twenty.
  • Waves 13–16 two enemy types combined per wave.
  • Wave 17–18 Assassin and DJ toilets appear together with one or two Large toilets.
  • Wave 19 Assassin and DJ groups return alongside two Glasses toilets.
  • Wave 20 full mixed spawn including Boss Toilet with 28,000 HP.

Surviving Nightmare Mode

Warn
In short Nightmare Mode punishes auto-skipping and under-prepared rosters hard, so read the early waves carefully before rushing.

Nightmare Mode is the hardest standard difficulty in the game. Enemies here stun your units frequently, and your base only has 400 HP, meaning a late-game enemy can end your run in one hit. A Boss Toilet arrives as early as Wave 5, and auto-skipping Wave 5 brings a faster Mutant Toilet on Wave 6 immediately after. Maps matter here too — Toilet HQ offers the best unit placement spots, and Toilet City has the longest track.

Worth watching out for
Do not auto-skip early waves a Boss Toilet at Wave 5 followed by a Mutant Toilet at Wave 6 can end runs before you are ready.
Bring at least one Mythic unit Epic units alone will leave you struggling.
Include a medic or repair drone to clear stuns, especially in the mid-game waves; Camera Repair Drone is not recommended at high waves such as wave 45–50 because there are a lot of stuns.
Consider stun-immune units or bait towers such as Santa TV Man to protect your high-value damage dealers.
Avoid letting enemies through at 400 base HP, even a small leak in the late waves can be fatal.
Pick Toilet HQ or Toilet City as your map.

Earning coins and pulling units

Check
In short Winning matches on any difficulty and opening crates is the core free-to-play loop for building a stronger roster.

Coins drop from defeated enemies during a match and are also paid out as a lump sum when you win. You spend them on crates, which work like a gacha system and can produce units up to Legendary or Mythic rarity without spending Robux. The rarity tiers run from Basic up through Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythic, Exclusive, Godly, Ultimate, and Celestial. Redeem any active codes from the code entry screen in the menu or lobby for free rewards on top of what you earn in matches.

  • Win matches consistently Easy Mode pays 50 coins per run.
  • Open crates regularly Legendary and Mythic units are reachable without spending Robux.
  • Check the code entry screen in the menu or lobby codes give free rewards and expire, so use them quickly.

Common questions

FAQ

How do I actually start a match?

Walk up to one of the platforms on the map in the lobby and step onto it. That triggers the match to begin.

How do I get stronger units without spending Robux?

Win matches to collect coins, then spend those coins on crates. Legendary and Mythic units can drop from crates without any Robux purchase.

Where do I enter a code?

Look for the code entry button in the in-game menu or in the lobby area. Codes can only be used once and many have expiration dates, so redeem them as soon as you find one.

Why does auto-skip keep getting me killed in Nightmare Mode?

Nightmare Mode places a Boss Toilet on Wave 5, and skipping past it immediately spawns a faster Mutant Toilet on Wave 6. If your units are not strong enough to handle both in rapid succession, auto-skipping ends the run early.
