Two modes and four badges
TableThe game has a normal play mode and a Nightmare mode. Nightmare mode is the only one with two possible badge outcomes — one for winning, one for losing.

Getting through Nightmare mode
StepNightmare mode is the hardest challenge in the game. The cat uses a stalking system that makes it actively hunt you down. There is no penalty for failing, and you actually earn the Loser badge when you do, so keep trying until you clear it.
- Track the cat the stalking system means the cat is actively hunting you, so check your surroundings constantly.
- Fail and retry if you get caught, you receive the Loser badge and can try again.
- Clear the mode surviving to the end earns The Nightmare badge.
The gun and the Murderer badge
TipsAlongside escaping the cat, the game lets players use a gun against other human players. Getting a kill this way unlocks the Murderer badge. With up to 18 players in a room, there are opportunities to chase this badge while the cat is also hunting everyone.
- The Murderer badge requires killing a human player with a gun.
- A full room of 18 players gives you more chances to earn this badge in a single session.
