Getting started on the right device
CheckNitro Drive runs on PC, phone, tablet, and console, but the developers strongly recommend a high-end desktop or a high-performance phone. If the server shuts down while you are playing, that means an update is being pushed; wait a moment and then rejoin.
- Use the most powerful device you have access to
- Restart the game if you run into a glitch
- Rejoin after a server shutdown it means the game just updated
- All zones and content are free to play; no premium benefits are in the game yet

The gridmap zones and what each one asks you to do
StepThe gridmap is divided into several zones, each with a different theme and driving style. Working through all of them is the main way to see everything the game offers. A ninth zone is listed as coming soon, so check back after updates.
- Suspension Zone drive across surfaces that vary between smooth and rough to put your car's suspension to the test
- Terrain Zone cross ground made of grass, rock, and snow
- City Zone weave between buildings and use the many ramps scattered around to do parkour-style driving
- Stunt Zone jump as high as you can, dodge spinning obstacles and swinging hammers, and drive through the glowing rings
- Half Pipes Zone hit the half-pipe shaped course and pull off tricks with your car the way a skateboarder would on a ramp
- Off-road Zone leave the pavement behind and drive across uneven terrain
Time badges and how to earn them
WarnThere are two time badges that reward you for staying in the game without quitting. The five-minute badge is easy to pick up while you are exploring the zones. The thirty-minute badge takes more commitment, so pick a session where you will not need to leave.

Glossary- Nitro boost

- Stunt
- Any flashy driving action such as a high jump, a mid-air trick, or threading through an obstacle.
Common questions
FAQDo I need to spend Robux to access all the zones?
No. Every zone on the gridmap is open to all players at no cost. Premium benefits are listed as coming soon but are not in the game yet, so nothing is locked behind a paywall right now.
What should I do if the server shuts down while I am playing?
A shutdown means the developers just pushed an update. Wait a short while and then rejoin — you will be loading into the updated version of the game.
Does leaving the game pause my time badge progress?
No, it resets it entirely. Both the five-minute and thirty-minute badges require you to stay in a single unbroken session, so do not quit until you have the badge you are going for.
Can I run into the game's owner?
There is a badge for meeting Ronnie NeonVolt, the game's creator, in a session.
