OverviewTBOD² (Tycoon But One Dropper: SQUARED) is the official sequel to the original Tycoon But One Dropper, made by But One Games. You run a tycoon with only one dropper, but upgraders and unlockable income methods let you grow your money into the quadrillions. How the tycoon works
StepThe game gives you a single dropper. Items that fall from the dropper gain value each time they pass through an upgrader, so building and using upgraders is the core loop. As you push further, new ways to generate money unlock on top of that base income.
- Route items through upgraders each upgrader the item passes through increases what you earn from it.
- Unlock new income sources the game opens additional revenue streams as you progress.
- Watch the leaderboard up to eight players share a server, and seeing their progress gives you a clear next target.
Cash milestones worth knowing
TipsEach milestone is marked by a badge, so you always know how far you have come and what comes next. The suffix jumps from billions to trillions to quadrillions, and reaching quadrillion ($1Qa) is the highest cash badge in the game.

Bits and Temporal Juice
TableCollecting Bits and producing Temporal Juice gives you goals outside the main money grind. Bits have four badge milestones, and Temporal Juice has one badge for a first production run.

Hidden secrets and named characters
CheckThe game contains a secret area and three named characters. The Secret Society badge requires reaching a top-secret Lab Society. Billy, Jimmy, and Benjamin are named characters whose discovery each unlocks a badge.
- Find the Lab Society entrance to unlock the Secret Society badge.
- Locate Billy described as someone whose sand castle got trampled.
- Track down Benjamin the badge hint says he looks familiar.

Glossary- Dropper
- The single device in your tycoon that produces items, which then travel through upgraders to earn money.
- Upgrader
- A station that increases the value of items passing through it.
- Rebirth
- A reset of your tycoon progress that pushes you into deeper progression; badges mark every major rebirth milestone.
- Bits
- A resource collected separately from cash, with its own milestone badges up to 1,000.
- Temporal Juice
- A producible resource in the game; producing it for the first time unlocks the Juicer! badge.
- Lab Society
- A secret hidden area in the game world, reached by finding a concealed entrance somewhere on the map.
