Holy comeback Full game rework
Obby But You Are A Worm puts you in control of a worm squirming through 400 obstacle-course stages spread across four distinct biomes. Progress saves automatically, so you can quit and pick up exactly where you left off. This guide covers how to get started, how each biome is structured, and what to do when you get stuck.
When you load in for the first time, you earn the 'Be like a worm!' badge automatically — no extra steps needed. From there, clearing a stage moves you to the next one, and failing sends you back to the start of that same stage so you can try again immediately. Because everything saves on its own, you never need to worry about losing your spot.
The next survey is being prepared.
The 400 stages are divided into four biomes. Work through each one fully to collect its badge. The table below shows each biome and what completing it unlocks.
| Biome | Badge you earn | What you must do |
|---|---|---|
| Grasslands | Grasslands Explorer | Complete every Grasslands stage |
| Volcano | Volcano Conqueror | Complete every Volcano stage |
| Clouds | Cloud Climber | Complete every Clouds stage |
| Mountain Tops | Snowy Mountains | Complete every Mountain Tops stage |
| All alpha stages combined | You did it (alpha)! | Complete all alpha stages across every biome |

Take a breath before retrying.
As you push further through the stages, you unlock hats for your worm. These are purely cosmetic and do not make any stage easier or harder. You do not need to spend Robux to get them — stage progress is all that is required.

Obby But You Are A Worm 🐛
Yes — the game saves all progress automatically. When you come back, you start from the stage you last reached rather than from the beginning.
There are 400 stages right now. The developers have said more stages are planned.
No — they are cosmetic only and have no effect on how any stage plays. You unlock them by progressing through stages, and no purchase is required.
You restart from the beginning of that same stage. You can retry as many times as you need, so there is no penalty for failing.
