The core loop every round
StepEach island asks you to do the same things in the same order.
- Chop trees use your axe on the trees around you to collect materials and earn cash
- Sell your haul take the materials to the selling point to convert them into cash
- Upgrade spend that cash on a stronger axe or more backpack capacity
- Build the bridge gather enough materials to construct the bridge leading to the next island
- Move on cross the bridge and repeat the same cycle on the new island
Earning cash
TipsCash is the engine behind everything — upgrades, bridges, and your overall pace all depend on how fast it comes in.
- Unique trees drop extra rewards when chopped
- Upgrading your axe increases how quickly you gather materials
- A larger backpack lets you carry more materials per trip
- Islands further along offer items that sell for higher prices
Reaching the helicopter
StepThe tsunami has a set schedule.
- Work through islands one through nine using the chop, sell, upgrade, build cycle
- Arrive at the tenth island and locate the helicopter
- Board the helicopter to complete your escape before the tsunami reaches you
Playing with a group
TableUp to eight players can share the same room.
| Solo | you handle chopping, selling, upgrading, and bridge-building entirely on your own |
| Group | players can split the work so some chop while others build bridges |
| Either mode | everyone boards the same helicopter on the tenth island to finish the run together |
When you get stuck
CheckIf progress has stopped, one of a handful of problems is almost always responsible.
- Check your backpack if it is full, sell your materials before you try to collect anything else
- Check your cash if you cannot afford the next upgrade, chop more trees and sell another load
- Check your bridge materials if you are short, keep chopping until you have enough to build
