Controls to learn before anything else
Check
The game uses just three controls, and they work on mobile through on-screen buttons as well.
- E Interact: walk up to a book or a shelf and press E to pick up the book or interact with the shelf.
- F Drop: press F to let go of whatever you are holding.
- Click Place: once you are at the correct shelf, click to set the book down in its spot.

How to pace yourself toward 2,400 books
Step
2,400 books is a large number, but the game saves your progress, so you can return to where you left off after logging out.
- Place your first book walk around until you spot a book, pick it up with E, carry it to the right spot, and click to place it. This earns you the 1 Book.. badge.
- Watch the shelves the description warns that shelves start stretching farther than they should, so keep returning books steadily.
- Aim for the halfway point placing at least 1,200 books earns the Halfway There badge.
- Push for the full collection returning all 2,400 books earns the Neeeerd badge, which the developers describe as completing the game to the fullest extent.
- Log out without worry because the game now saves, any progress you make in one session carries over to the next.
The secret badge and other rewards

- A tall storage area high up in the library where books can be scattered out of easy reach.
- Interact (E)
- The key you press near a book or shelf to pick up a book or work with a shelf.
- Drop (F)
- The key that makes you release whatever book you are currently holding.
- Upgrade
- Something you buy from the in-game shop.

Yes. The game received an update that added saving, so your book count carries over when you log back in.
What happens when I return all 2,400 books?
Placing every book earns you the Neeeerd badge, which the developers award for completing the game to the fullest extent.
How do I get the secret badge?
The SECRET: 5 Hours..?? badge unlocks after you have played for five hours in total.
