My Pet Grumble Guide: The basic growth cycle
About
OverviewMy Pet Grumble! lets you raise Grumble, the creature from DOORS, as your own pet. Your Grumble keeps growing even while you are off playing other Roblox games, so the loop is less about constant attention and more about checking in at the right moments. This guide covers the core growth cycle, feeding, sending Grumbles to The Nest, and the badges you can earn along the way.

Feeding your Grumble
TipsGrumble is not happy eating just anything. It will push back on foods it dislikes, and it reacts with visible enthusiasm to the ones it loves. Watch its response each time you offer something.
- Forcing food on Grumble when it does not want it is tied to the Picky Eater badge — Grumble's protest is the trigger.
- Feeding Grumble something it genuinely enjoys unlocks the Happy Eater badge, so keep an eye out for the positive reaction.
- Healthy food is not automatically welcome — Grumble can reject it just as readily as anything else.
The Nest and what comes after
TipsWhen Grumble reaches adulthood, The Nest is where it goes to work. Releasing it there lets you begin raising a brand-new Grumble. The process then repeats from the beginning.
- Grumble must reach adulthood before you can send it to The Nest.
- Releasing a grown Grumble into The Nest rewards you with a new one to raise.
- A Grumble you have sent away will still show up to visit you occasionally.
- Completing this step unlocks So long, old pal.

Common questions
FAQDoes Grumble grow when I am not in the game?
Yes. Grumble grows larger while you are playing other Roblox games, so you do not need to stay in My Pet Grumble! the whole time. Checking in every few hours is enough to keep up with its progress.
Do I need Robux to play?
No. The game does not earn Robux from gamepasses or microtransactions, and nothing in the game requires you to spend any.
Will I lose my Grumble forever when I send it to The Nest?
Not entirely. A Grumble you release into The Nest will still visit you from time to time. You also receive a new Grumble to raise once the old one has been sent off.
