Getting started with the tutorial
StepWhen you first load in, a tutorial walks you through the core controls: how to summon minions, how to position them, and where to find the skill tree. Work through every step rather than skipping it, because the full game only opens up once the tutorial is complete.
- Follow the tutorial let it teach you the summoning controls before you experiment on your own.
- Place your first minions position them in front of the castle so they meet enemies before those enemies reach the walls.
- Open the skill tree find it during the tutorial and note where your first upgrade is waiting.
- Complete every step the tutorial must be finished before the main game unlocks.
Minion placement and wave defense
TipsHeroes attack in waves, so you always have a brief window between them to adjust your defenses. Fallen heroes drop resources you can collect to summon stronger minions or reinforce the castle. Watch the routes the heroes take — placing minions along those paths rather than in random spots makes a big difference.
- Mix different minion types so your defense handles a wider range of hero abilities.
- Collect resources from defeated heroes quickly so you can spend them before the next wave arrives.
- Watch the hero paths each wave and adjust minion positions rather than leaving them in one spot forever.
Skill tree and weapon unlocks
TableEvery point and resource you earn can go into the skill tree, which upgrades both your boss character and your individual minions. Certain skill unlocks also open new weapons, which expand the tactics available to you.
| Minion stats | individual minion upgrades are available in the tree alongside your boss upgrades. |
| New weapons | specific skill unlocks grant new weapons. |
Recovering after a lost run
WarnWhen heroes destroy your castle, that run ends. The resources and levels you earned during that run are kept, so you are not starting from zero. Go back into the skill tree, spend what you have, and then head back in with a stronger setup.
Free-to-play progress and redeem codes
CheckThe game can be progressed entirely through resources earned in play — no purchases required. Updates arrive weekly, sometimes more than once a week, so new content keeps appearing for everyone. Redeem codes give bonus items and resources; each code works only once, so use any code as soon as you find it. There is a codes board inside the game where you enter them.

Common questions
FAQWhich minions should I summon first?

What do the weekly updates add?
Updates arrive weekly, sometimes more than once a week, bringing new content for everyone.
Do I lose everything when my castle falls?
No — resources and levels earned during the run carry over. Spend those gains in the skill tree before your next attempt and you will go in stronger than before.
