Getting started in the lobby
StepWhen you join a server, you land in a lobby with everyone else. The game pairs you with other players automatically, so you don't need friends to start. Once the group is together, the host announces the rules for the first minigame, so pay attention before you move.
- Wait in the lobby don't wander off; stay near the other players until the round begins.
- Read the host's announcement the rules for each minigame are stated at the start, so catch them before rushing in.
- Say a quick hello in chat even a short greeting makes strangers more willing to cooperate.
- Move to the start point together head into the first minigame as a group, not one by one.
Types of minigames and how to handle them
TableThe host throws different categories of challenges at you as you progress, and each one rewards a different skill. Figure out the type fast and split responsibilities accordingly.
| Timing challenges | Your fastest reactor leads; everyone else follows that person's cue without rushing ahead. |
| Movement challenges | Pick one person to lead the path and one to watch the back so the whole group moves at the same pace. |
| Judgment challenges | Gather a quick vote in chat before committing to an answer; the most agreed-upon choice beats a solo guess. |
| Teamwork challenges | Nominate one person to call the timing out loud and have everyone act on that signal at once. |
When you keep failing the same minigame
CheckBefore deciding a minigame is too hard, run through these checks. The problem is almost always fixable once you identify it.
- Did everyone hear the host's rules clearly restate them in chat to confirm the whole team is on the same page.
- Is the team acting at the same time if not, pick one person to count down and have everyone move on zero.
- Are your controls set up correctly check your keyboard or mouse settings haven't changed.
- Has a teammate dropped out mid-round a missing player can make some minigames much harder; check the group is complete.
Boss encounters: Father Mr. Grease and Mama Grease
WarnAt certain points the host throws something harder than a standard minigame at you. Two named enemies — Father Mr. Grease and Mama Grease — have their own defeat badges, which means beating them is a specific goal worth chasing.
Paying versus not paying
SummaryThe game is built around cooperation and quick thinking rather than character stats or special equipment. Every player faces the same minigames under the same conditions regardless of whether they have spent anything.

Common questions
FAQDo I need friends to play, or will I be grouped with strangers?
You are automatically placed with other players in the lobby, so you do not need to bring friends. A quick greeting in chat goes a long way toward making strangers cooperate.
Is there anything to work toward beyond just surviving?
Yes — the game has badges for specific accomplishments, including defeating the two named bosses Father Mr. Grease and Mama Grease, and one badge connected to hatching an egg.
