Step

The game is a PvP tennis experience set in a US Open tournament. Everything revolves around playing matches against other players, so your first move is simply to get on the court. Completing that first match earns you the 'Your first stroke!' badge and starts your MMR count.

  1. Join a match step onto the court to register your first tennis game and unlock your first badge.
  2. Check the player card this screen shows your level, MMR points, match history, and gear all in one place.
  3. Play ten matches reaching ten games unlocks the 'Rising star!' badge.
  4. Enter a tournament match participating even once unlocks the 'Journey to the top!' badge, separate from your normal match count.
  5. Win your first match the 'Win your first tennis' badge is a milestone that confirms your MMR has started climbing.

How MMR and ranking work

Summary
In short Winning matches is the only way to push your MMR up and rise in the rankings.

MMR points are the game's ranking currency. Every match you win adds to your total, moving you up the leaderboard.

  • MMR source you earn MMR points by winning tennis matches against other players.
  • Ranking your MMR total determines your position on the leaderboard.
  • Friends you can compete with friends directly and compare MMR totals through the player card.
03

Tournament placement and badges

Table
In short Finishing a tournament in the top three earns a placement badge, with Gold reserved for first place.

Tournament results are graded separately from your regular win count. Each placement tier has its own badge, and you need to hit them in a real tournament match, not a standard game.

PlacementBadge earnedHow to reach it
First placeGold PlayerWin the tournament
Second placeSilver PlayerFinish as runner-up
Third placeBronze PlayerFinish in third

The sun character and the Solarflare Cape

Warn
In short Defeating the sun is the only way to get the La Roche-Posay Solarflare Cape UGC, and stock is limited.

One of the game's special opponents is a character described as the brightest player of all — the sun. Beating this character gives you a chance to claim the La Roche-Posay Solarflare Cape, a limited UGC item. Once the available supply runs out, the item is gone.

Worth watching out for
The Solarflare Cape is only available while supplies last.
The cape is a UGC item, meaning it is a wearable cosmetic for your avatar, not a gameplay upgrade.
There is also a 'Winner Winner' badge for playing against Coco Gauff three times, which is a separate challenge from the sun fight.
05

Gear, racquets, and avatar customisation

Tips
In short New racquets and gear change how your avatar looks on the court and can be picked up from the in-game store.

As you play, you can kit out your avatar with new racquets and outfits. The store sells both free and Robux items, and your first purchase from each category unlocks a badge.

Tips worth knowing
  • Buying anything from the store for the first time unlocks the 'Brand new drip!' badge.
  • Your first Robux purchase from the store separately unlocks the 'Premium shopper' badge.
  • Limited US Open UGC items are available only while supplies last.
06

Obbies and portal challenges

Step
In short Two obbies and an AO Adventure portal add extra badges outside of standard matches.

Beyond the main courts, the game includes two obstacle courses and a connection to another experience through a portal. Each has its own badge reward, and the portal path has additional progression tied to it.

  1. Find the Emirates Obby complete it to earn the 'Emirates Adventure' badge.
  2. Find the Ball Crew Obby completing it earns both the 'Ball Crew' badge and the separate 'No Ball to stop me!' badge.
  3. Locate the AO: Adventure portal walking through it and entering the game from there unlocks the 'From Down Under' badge immediately.
  4. Keep playing after using the portal playing five games or winning two games after arriving through the AO portal unlocks the 'Feeling Adventurous!' badge.
  5. Playing against Coco Gauff three times unlocks 'Winner Winner', and a single match against her earns 'Legendary bout!'.
07

Tips
In short Redeeming promo codes is a quick way to claim free in-game rewards, and each code only works once per account.

The game distributes promo codes through official announcements. Enter them in the code input screen inside the game. Each code can only be redeemed once on your account, and codes can expire.
