Where beginners should start

Guide

01 How to get started Starting on a small, easy animal and filling your nutrition bar first gives you a safe head start before switching to anything harder.
02 Nutrition and the Nourished bonus Eating your animal's preferred food is the single fastest way to grow, because Nourished adds 20% to your growth speed.
03 Cleanliness — the stat players forget Dropping below 60% cleanliness weakens your healing, and hitting 0% cuts all recovery by 30%, so a quick dip in any river takes care of it in about ten seconds.
04 The Elder system Eldering is permanent and costs three times your normal growth time, so only commit if your animal is large enough to benefit from the 20% stat increase.
