How to earn cash as a criminal

Tips
In short Start small, sell fast, and never carry loot longer than you have to.

Your cash loop as a criminal is simple: grab loot, sell it, repeat. ATMs and registers are the fastest jobs to start with because they take little time and let you learn the streets and escape routes. Loot sitting in your bag is worth nothing until you sell it to Ophie at the pawn shop or to Sir B at the criminal hideout. If you sell to Sir B, check the sell screen for the payout time, because the cash does not always arrive instantly.

Tips worth knowing
  • Start with ATMs and registers to learn the map before tackling bigger targets
  • Sell to Ophie at the pawn shop or to Sir B at the criminal hideout to turn loot into cash
  • Check the payout time when selling to Sir B, then come back once it has cleared
  • Confirm item names match what a mission asks for, or the job will not count as complete

Wanted level and bounty

Warn
In short Let your wanted level climb too high and you will spend more time running than earning.

Every crime you commit pushes your wanted level up and adds to the bounty on your head, making police players more likely to come after you. Beginners should treat a rising wanted level as a signal to stop adding new crimes and cash out whatever loot they are already carrying.

Worth watching out for
Do not start a new crime once your wanted level begins climbing sell first
Keep valuable loot in your bag as briefly as possible to limit your losses if caught
Plan your escape route before entering any building, not after the alarm goes off
Change locations often so you are harder to track down
05

Playing as a police officer

Step
In short Start with patrol missions from Bart so you learn the city before chasing high-bounty targets.

To join the police side, go to the Oasis City Police Department and talk to Bart to pick up your first mission. Patrol jobs that send you around a district are the best starting point because they teach you the city. The arrest action only appears when you are close to a player who is actively wanted, so do not be confused if nothing shows up near regular civilians. Some missions only count an arrest if it happens inside a specific zone, so check the location requirement before you commit to a pursuit. When you need to stop a fleeing car, practice the pit maneuver by matching speed alongside the target's rear before making contact.

  1. Talk to Bart at the police station pick up the introductory mission to get started
  2. Take patrol missions first riding a district teaches the map
  3. Only attempt arrest near a wanted player the prompt will not appear for civilians or non-targets
  4. Check whether the mission needs the arrest in a specific zone before chasing anyone
  5. Practice the pit maneuver match speed beside the target's rear, then make controlled contact
  6. Chase high-bounty criminals with teammates splitting roles works better than going alone
06

Things to check when you keep losing

Check
In short Most losing streaks come down to ammo, mission conditions, or a wanted level that got out of hand.

If police keep catching you or your cash is not growing, run through this list before trying the same approach again. Leaving yourself with no repair money or ammo is one of the most common traps for new players.

  • Ammo is stocked a gun with no bullets does nothing, so check before any job
  • Mission conditions are met role, location, item name, and quantity all have to match exactly
  • Wanted level is not maxed out running around at the highest level means constant pressure from every cop on the server
  • Enough cash remains for repairs and ammo running out means you cannot start your next job

Free-to-play versus paid items

Table
In short The core game is fully playable without spending, but know what paid items actually do before buying.

You can earn cash, buy weapons and cars, and progress through missions entirely without spending Robux. Codes, when available, help close the early-game cash gap. Paid items exist, but some have time limits or random outcomes, so read the details before purchasing. Always check with a parent or guardian before spending Robux.

Free missionsearn cash and buy weapons or cars without spending anything
Codescan provide free cash, weapons, or other items when valid codes are available
Paid bag upgradestemporarily increase how much loot you can carry; check the duration before buying
Vehicle cratescontents are random, so the car you want is not guaranteed
Robux spendingtalk to a parent or guardian before any purchase

Safety and fair play

Warn
In short Cheating risks your account, and sharing personal information is never safe.

Roblox's rules cover Wanted the same as every other game on the platform. Using cheat tools or hacks can get your account suspended. Anyone asking for your password or verification code should be ignored and reported. External sites that promise free Robux or automatic robbery tools are not legitimate. If something goes wrong in a session, use Roblox's built-in report feature rather than responding in chat.

Worth watching out for
Never share your password or verification code with anyone
Cheat tools and hacks break the Roblox terms of service and can lead to a ban
Do not visit outside sites claiming to offer free Robux or automated crime tools
Skip unknown links or files sent by players you do not know
Use the official Roblox report feature for any harassment or rule-breaking you see

Common questions

FAQ

Why does my code show as invalid?

Codes expire, so one that worked last week may already be dead. The code system also stays locked until you complete the tutorial, so check that first. If both of those are fine, re-enter the code one character at a time because a single wrong letter will make it fail.

How do I escape the police when my wanted level is high?

A high wanted level means many officers will be tracking you at once. Once you are clear, avoid lingering in one spot so pursuers cannot close in.

Can I play through the whole game without spending Robux?

Yes — missions provide cash that you can use to buy weapons and cars, and codes can add to that for free when they are available. Paid items like temporary bag upgrades and vehicle crates exist, but the core progression does not require them.

I sold loot to Sir B but my cash did not go up — what happened?

Sales to Sir B do not always pay out immediately. Check the sell screen or your conversation with him for the stated payout time, then come back after that window has passed to collect what you are owed.

Can my friends and I rob a bank together?

Yes, joining the same server lets you and your friends coordinate during a heist.
