First thing to do before you start

Step
In short Liking the group before you spawn gives you a free head start that makes the first growth milestone much easier to reach.

The game gives you a bonus of 1,000 starting size when you like the developer group. Do this before you begin playing so the bonus is already applied when you spawn in.

  1. Like the group follow the prompt in the game description to receive the +1,000 starting size bonus.
  2. Head straight for space blobs they are the smallest things to eat and the safest way to build size in the opening seconds.

How size and eating work

Summary
In short Growth comes from eating things smaller than you, and you lose progress whenever something bigger eats you.

Your size number goes up every time you eat a space blob or a smaller planet. The moment you run into a planet that is bigger than yours, it eats you instead.

  • Space blobs safe targets at any stage; always available and never eat you back.
  • Smaller planets eating another player's planet gives a much bigger size jump than a blob alone.
  • Bigger planets contact with one means you get eaten and lose your accumulated size.
  • Size number the single value that determines what you can eat and where you rank on the leaderboard.
