Getting started
StepEvery match rewards you with Credits when you are actively getting kills. Once you have your first kill and your first weapon unlock under your belt, you are past the steepest part of the learning curve.
- Join a match and get your first kill this unlocks the Dropping Em badge.
- Spend your Credits head to the shop and unlock your first new weapon to earn the Gimme Gimme badge.
- Play a second session coming back earns the Guess Who's Back badge.
How Credits and levelling work
SummaryCredits are the currency you earn by eliminating other players. Every time you level up, the amount of Credits you need for the next level rises, but so does the amount you receive per match. Unlocking every non-DLC weapon earns you the To The Teeth badge, and unlocking the single best weapon in the game earns the Best of The Best badge.
Badges, events, and long-term goals
CheckGunfight Arena has 25 badges that cover everything from your very first login to completing a Season Battlepass and hunting down hidden TIX collectibles. Logging in eight days in a row earns the Millionaire badge. The Hunt Quest and the 2024 Easter Egg Hunt are event-specific badges. Two badges — Daxter's Prodigy and Noob Tubing — require you to get all required tags using the Paintball Gun and Rocket Launcher respectively.
- Log in eight days in a row to earn the Millionaire badge.
- Maintain a career kill/death ratio above 1 to earn Going Positive.
- Finish the Season Battlepass to earn the Completionist badge.
- Collect TIX hidden around the game there are at least ten to find, each one earning its own badge.
- Complete the Hunt Quest for The Hunt badge when that event is running.
- Complete the 2024 Easter Egg Hunt Event for the EGG HUNTER badge.
- Use the Paintball Gun to get all required tags for Daxter's Prodigy, and the Rocket Launcher for Noob Tubing.

- The in-game currency you earn by eliminating players; used to unlock weapons in the shop.

- A bonus that doubles the damage you deal, active whenever you play alongside friends.

- An optional reset you can trigger; prestiging at least once earns the Here we go again badge.
- TIX
- Collectible items hidden around the game; finding each one earns a badge, with badges for up to ten collected.
- Season Battlepass
- A progression track that runs for a limited season; completing it earns the Completionist badge.
- Hunt Quest
- A special in-game event with its own objective; finishing it earns The Hunt badge.

- A goal the game itself calls out; something to aim for in a match.
Common questions
FAQCan I unlock every weapon without spending Robux?
All non-DLC weapons can be unlocked using Credits, which you earn by playing matches and eliminating other players. Completing the full non-DLC roster earns the To The Teeth badge. DLC weapons are separate from that collection.
Does the double-damage bonus work in every match?
The bonus activates when you play with friends, so it is available in any match where a friend is in your session.
How do I earn the Daxter's Prodigy and Noob Tubing badges?
Both require you to get all the required tags using a specific weapon — the Paintball Gun for Daxter's Prodigy and the Rocket Launcher for Noob Tubing.
