About

Overview

Beat the Robloxian is a chaotic PvE game where you fight waves of Robloxians across multiple worlds, earn currency to buy weapons and summon allies, and take on bosses that drop powerful gear. This guide covers how the main game works, how to survive Wave Defense on every difficulty, and how to handle the toughest bosses you'll face.

01

How the main game works

Summary
In short Killing Robloxians earns you the currency you need to summon allies, spawn bosses, and unlock new areas.

Every Robloxian you defeat drops Spawn Points (SP), which you spend to call in allies or summon bosses onto the field. Beating a boss has a chance to reward rare items that give you a big edge going forward. Wave Defense Mode is a separate mode accessed on the right side of the base game, and it uses its own points currency instead of SP.

  • SP currency earned from kills, spent to summon allies or bosses
  • Boss drops rare weapons and items unavailable from regular enemies
  • Wave Defense separate mode to the right of the base game, with its own economy
  • Premium bonus Premium players receive a 10% cash bonus on earnings

Wave Defense difficulty unlock requirements

Table
In short Work through Easy and Medium before attempting Hard, and finish three Hard wins to unlock Extreme without needing level 120.

Each difficulty has its own level requirement, wave count, and core lives. Read the table left to right to find what you need before queuing.

MediumNone142450

Extreme (public)120 or 3 Hard wins150 (instant loss)300
03

Surviving Wave Defense — general rules for every difficulty

Check
In short Checking these habits on every wave will stop most surprise losses before they happen.

These apply whether you are on Easy or pushing Hard.

  • Check the core regularly a Hammer Robloxian can destroy it while you are focused elsewhere
  • Keep ally count around 10 per wave overspending on allies early leaves you cash-poor for weapons
  • Use the performance settings (No Visual Tracers, Low Graphics, Gore off, Blood off) if later waves slow down your game
04

Extreme mode — wave-by-wave progression

Step
In short Extreme mode rewards players who build their loadout methodically in the first seven waves rather than rushing straight at enemies.

Extreme mode starts you with 3,250 points, but wave 1 already sends at least 50 enemies. You have no core lives, so one breakthrough ends the run. Follow these steps in order.

  1. Wave 1 start grab the Pistol or Bow immediately, then hunt down explosive Robloxians before anything else
  2. After wave 1 buy the Helmet and Vest to bring your HP to 450
  3. Wave 2 continue prioritising explosive and fast Robloxians every wave from here on
  4. After wave 3 pick up the Machete, Hammer, and Medkit; use the Hammer to parry incoming bullets
  5. Mid-game upgrade when you can afford it, swap the Helmet for the Knight Helmet and the Vest for the Shield Implant, which adds 400 HP, bullet resistance, speed, and also protects the core
  6. Wave 6 practice shooting distant enemies with a regular gun to prepare for the heavier waves ahead
  7. By wave 7 have Core Defense Shock active, allies at level 3, and at least 50 ally lives banked before the boss waves hit
05

Extreme mode boss waves

Warn
In short Multiple bosses arrive simultaneously on waves 5, 10, and 15, so finish your prep one full wave before each of those.

The core has zero lives in Extreme mode — a single breakthrough by any enemy ends the match instantly. Keep one eye on the core even during boss fights.

Worth watching out for
Wave 5 brings Rox the Destroyer and Crazy Robloxian at the same time kill ranged Robloxians first, then deal with the bosses
Wave 10 brings Rambo Randy, Killbot 1337, and Quickshot Jimmy together
Wave 15 brings Commander Hawk, who then summons all previous bosses one after another at Extreme-level stats
If you lose in a public server you have 90 seconds before the match kicks you
06

Team roles in Extreme mode

Table
In short Splitting into a dedicated core defender and an attacking group from the very start is the most stable team setup.

Assign roles before the first wave drops.

Core defenderstays near the core all game, switches to Watchman role once enough points are saved to focus only on enemies approaching the core
Attackersspread across the field killing Robloxians to earn points and keep pressure off the core
Watchmanthe evolved version of the core defender; uses saved points to eliminate any Robloxian that gets close to the core
07

Major bosses and how to handle them

Tips
In short Every boss has one or two patterns that will kill you quickly if you ignore them — learning those patterns matters more than raw damage.

These bosses appear in the main game and carry over into Wave Defense. Each one drops items or grants badges worth chasing.

Tips worth knowing
  • Crazy Robloxian's Headbutt deals 400 damage — enough to one-shot a player with no armor — so do not jump near him and parry it with a melee weapon
  • Crazy Robloxian eats a Hotdog to recover 500 HP
  • Rox the Destroyer's Chomp ability is an instant kill unless you have the Shield Implant equipped
  • When Rox the Destroyer screams, he charges — move to the side with A or D to avoid the knockback
  • Adalwolf has smarter pathfinding than Crazy Robloxian; if he moves left, immediately move right and keep backing up to stay out of claw range
  • Viper switches to Phase 2 when his HP drops low, gaining 1500% bullet resistance and only using his Survival Knife
  • If you leave Viper's combat zone or die three times he teleports away and the fight is lost
08

Items and what they actually do

Table
In short Items do not deal damage but can keep you or teammates alive longer, so buy or collect them alongside your weapons.

Items are sold in shops tied to specific areas and also drop from bosses. The rebirth requirement column tells you if you need to rebirth before the shop will sell it to you.

09

Badges worth targeting

Table
In short Most badges double as a useful checklist of the game's core challenges.

Earning these badges will naturally push you to try every major part of the game. The Champion badge requires winning Wave Defense on Hard difficulty.

Common questions

FAQ

How do I get into Wave Defense Mode?

Head to the right side of the base game and you will find the entry point.

How do I unlock Extreme mode if I am not level 120?

Win three Hard mode matches instead — that unlocks Extreme mode on public servers regardless of your level. You can also enter Extreme on a private server with no level requirement at all.

The core keeps getting destroyed before I even notice. What am I doing wrong?

Hammer Robloxians can smash the core while you are focused on enemies elsewhere. In team play, assign one person permanently to core defense.
