Battle For Dream Island Roblox (currently version 2.0, TPOT) is a competition game where players split into teams, tackle randomized challenges, and vote each other out until one object character wins Dream Island. This guide covers how each part of the game works — challenges, tokens, badges, the shop, and codes — so you can stay in the competition longer.
In shortEvery round ends with one team at Cake at Stake, so finishing in the top two teams is the only thing that keeps you safe.
At the start of each round a wheel spins to pick a challenge at random. The two teams with the best results earn Invincibility, which protects them from elimination. The worst-performing team is sent straight to Cake at Stake, where one player is voted out. This loop continues until a merge happens, after which individual play takes over.
Coins and Battlepass XPfinishing a challenge pays out coins and XP regardless of whether your team wins.
After the mergefrom the final ten onward only one team wins invincibility, so the pressure increases sharply.
In shortKnowing what each challenge asks before it starts gives your team a head start.
The challenge wheel holds different pools before and after the merge. Pre-merge challenges are team-based; merge challenges are individual or small-group. A few specific ones reward extra attention.
Tips worth knowing
Build Dream Island: push your team-colored blocks onto the far mat — every block that lands respawns at the start, so keep pushing the whole time.
Survive 1st Night: stay away from Evil Leafy for the full duration; the challenge has two variants — a completely empty room, or a room with trees from the Evil Forest.
Key Dropper: find the colored key in each of the five stages in order — the final stage has three buttons and two send you back to the start, but your earlier progress is kept.
Punch Parkour: complete the obstacle course while dodging boxing gloves that shoot from the walls at random.
Rejoin challenges such as Precarious Path give eliminated players a shot to return — win the rejoin challenge to earn the You Rejoined! badge.

In shortTokens shift the vote in your favor or bring someone back. You can pass most tokens to other players before voting begins, but the Rejoin Token cannot be transferred.
Tokens spawn during challenges or in fixed locations on the map. Each type has a different effect at Cake at Stake. CAS exposes who played tokens on who. A maximum of one Win Token and one Curse Token can be played on an individual player per Cake at Stake.
Win Token
up to four can exist in a game at once, with a 33% spawn chance each round unless already owned.
Curse Token
doubles the vote count against a target; also capped at four in a game with the same 33% spawn chance.
Expose Token
obtained in TPOT mode; rewards the Spy Pen skin on first pickup.
Swap Token
obtained in TPOT mode; rewards the Swap Coiny skin on first pickup.
Revenge Token
obtained in TPOT mode; rewards the Dynamite IceCube skin on first pickup.
Rejoin Token
spawns anywhere on the map, is camouflaged, has a 50% spawn chance per game, and can only be used up to the final six; it cannot be given to another player.

Badges that reward skins
Table
In shortSeveral badges give you free skins, so it is worth going after them on purpose rather than waiting for them to happen.
Some badges are purely cosmetic awards, but the ones below unlock an in-game skin the moment you earn them. BFDIA mode and TPOT mode each have exclusive badge rewards.

Earning coins and gems
Tips
In shortPlaying daily and completing quests is a free way to build up currency for the shop.
Coins and gems are the two currencies. Coins come from finishing challenges and completing daily quests.
Tips worth knowing
Every completed challenge pays out coins and Battlepass XP.
Four daily quests are available each day — completing each one earns 100 coins.
Log in seven days in a row to earn a gem from the daily streak reward.
Redeem active codes in the lobby by tapping the Code button in the top-right corner — codes can give hundreds of coins or free gems.
The Battlepass has both free and premium reward tracks.
Buying any skin for the first time unlocks the First Skin! badge.
07
Shop skins and how to get them
Tips
In shortThe shop rotates stock, so if you see a skin you want, buy it rather than waiting.
Skins are tied to specific character morphs and can only be used with the morph they belong to. The lobby shop and the in-game shop stock different items. As of version 1.7 one shop slot cycles through twenty new skins in order without repeating until all have appeared.
Tips worth knowing
Some skins cost both coins and gems — for example, Aflame Book costs 1 Gem and 1500 Coins.
Event skins such as Hunt 3 exclusives are only available during that event and do not return to the regular rotation afterward.
Skins save between games as of version 1.7, so you only need to pick one once.
Badge skins are free — earn the matching badge and the skin is added to your inventory automatically.
08
Painting hunts on both maps
Step
In shortFinding every painting on a map unlocks a unique skin badge.
There are two separate painting hunts: one across the BFDIA map and one across the TPOT map. Each rewards a unique skin badge when you find every painting in that set.
The BFDIA hunt requires finding all Ms Paint paintings hidden across the BFDIA map to unlock the Corkboard TV skin.
The TPOT hunt requires finding all paintings hidden across the TPOT map to unlock the Artsy Cart skin.
09
Codes, Battlepasses, and extra content
Summary
In shortCodes and the Battlepass are ways to build your inventory.
The game has had multiple seasons of Battlepasses and a large number of codes over its lifetime. Codes expire without warning, so redeeming them as soon as you hear about one is important.
Code entry tap Code in the top-right of the lobby screen, type the code, and confirm.
Currency codes some codes give Coinsteiry (coins) or Gemsteiry (gems) directly.
Skin codes other codes unlock a specific skin outright with no shop purchase needed.
Battlepass seasons each season introduces new skins, cakes, and seats on both free and premium tracks; Season 6 is titled Spacery of Beef.
Shutdowns mean updates if the game kicks everyone out, a new update is live and you can rejoin to find new content.
Hunt events past Hunts (Hunt 1, 2, and 3) each had their own code sets and exclusive shop rotations that are no longer available.

Common questions
FAQ
How do I enter a redeem code?
In the game lobby, tap the Code button in the top-right corner of the screen. Type your code into the box that appears, then confirm it. Codes expire without notice, so use them as soon as you find one.
When does the merge happen?
The merge happens at the final seven players. If a rejoin has taken place, it happens at the final eight instead. After the merge, individual performance matters rather than team results.
Can I get gems for free?
Yes. Active redeem codes sometimes give gems directly, and logging in seven days in a row earns a gem through the daily streak system.
