01

How the game works

Summary
In short Your goal is to survive your possessed dad's checks night after night, progressing through chapters that grow increasingly dangerous.

A mysterious figure has taken control of your father, and he now comes to check whether you are asleep over and over again. Surviving means enduring each chapter until the story moves forward. The game is split into chapters across seasons — Season 1 alone has at least four chapters, followed by Book II which begins its own chapter sequence. Each chapter you clear earns you a badge confirming you made it through.

Chapter the main story unit; clearing one unlocks the next
Season a larger story arc containing multiple chapters
Book II a second story arc that follows Season 1's four chapters
Nightmare Mode a separate, harder version of the game unlocked beyond the normal chapters
Anniversary Chapter a special one-off chapter outside the main story

Surviving each chapter

Step
In short Watch your dad's patterns carefully and use what you learn from every failed run to last longer on the next attempt.

Your dad follows patterns when he comes to check on you. Learning exactly when those checks happen is the core skill the game asks you to build. Early chapters teach the basics; later ones raise the stakes.

  1. Observe dad pay attention to when he arrives and what signals come just before
  2. Study the pattern each chapter can have its own timing
  3. Retry with purpose after a loss, focus on the moment things went wrong rather than starting blindly
03

Reviving teammates

Tips
In short Bringing back fallen players is one of the most important cooperative actions in the game, and reviving everyone earns a separate badge.

The game tracks both individual revives and full-team revives with two different badges. Reviving a single soul earns the First Resurrection badge; bringing back every dead player in the session earns One for All.

Tips worth knowing
  • You can revive other players who have been eliminated during a chapter.
  • Reviving all dead teammates in one session is its own separate challenge worth chasing.
04

Nightmare Mode and special chapters

Warn
In short Nightmare Mode and the Anniversary Chapter are separate from the main story.

Nightmare Mode is described by the game itself as entering hell, and surviving it is treated as a major accomplishment. It sits apart from the four main chapters and Book II. The Anniversary Chapter is another standalone challenge tied to a seasonal event. Christmas Mode adds its own chaos on top of the normal formula.

Worth watching out for
Nightmare Mode is not just a harder version of a chapter the game describes it as entering hell.
The Anniversary Chapter requires you to complete a dedicated special stage, not the regular story progression.
Christmas Mode layers new hazards into the familiar format.
05

The MEGA SHOP and spins

Tips
In short The shop is updated regularly, so check it after each Sunday update to see what is new.

The MEGA SHOP lets you browse and acquire items. A spin system gives you a chance at random items when you use it. The shop itself gets reworked and revamped alongside new seasons, so its contents change over time. The game updates every Sunday.

Tips worth knowing
  • New spins are added with each season update.
  • Check the shop every Sunday after the weekly update drops.
06
