SCP Architect X is a facility-building tycoon game where you design layouts, hire staff, and contain dangerous SCPs inside a site you build from scratch. This guide covers the two currencies, how to earn money through testing, daily rewards, staff behaviour, and how to work toward every SCP class.
In shortMoney runs your facility day-to-day; Gems are for cosmetics and extras that you can earn entirely for free.
Every purchase that grows your facility — structures, SCPs, staff, upgrades — costs Money. Gems are the second currency, used for things like build skins, object packs, and boosts. Because Gems accumulate through playtime and daily logins, you do not need to spend Robux to reach them. Robux is the external Roblox currency and is the only way to buy game passes or instant cash top-ups.
Money
the core currency; spent on buildings, SCPs, hiring staff, and upgrades
Gems
the second currency; spent on skins, packs, and boosts
Robux
Roblox's external currency; used for game passes and instant purchases
Gem cap
once you hold 24,000 Gems no more can be earned, so spend them before you hit the ceiling
In shortLogging in every day and staying active are the two habits that keep Gems flowing.
Gems build up passively while you play. Five Gems arrive every minute of active play, capped at 7,200 per day. On top of that, each full hour of active play adds a 100-Gem bonus. Login rewards and streaks stack on top of those passive earnings. If you have a Roblox Plus subscription, playtime Gems are doubled.
Log in daily to collect 500 Gems from the daily bonus
Stay active5 Gems per minute, plus 100 Gems every hour, up to 7,200 Gems a day
Maintain a 7-day login streak for a one-time 3,000-Gem bonus
Spend Gems before your total reaches 24,000 or the passive income stops counting
Check whether you have Roblox Plus, since it doubles Gems earned from playtime
In shortYour most expensive SCP sets the Money value of the cash rewards, so buying a pricier SCP raises what you collect each week.
The daily reward system runs on a seven-day cycle. Money rewards on Days 2, 5, 6, and 7 scale to the purchase price of whichever SCP currently costs you the most. Day 6 doubles that cash reward and also hands you a 2x Money boost, making it the highest-value single day. Day 7 adds a Veteran Skin on top of cash and Gems.
Collect Day 1grab the Time Speed boost and 500 Gems
Collect Days 2 and 5take the Money reward, which scales to your priciest SCP, plus 500 Gems each
Collect Day 3another Time Speed boost and 500 Gems
Collect Day 4a 2x Time Speed boost and 500 Gems
Collect Day 6the Money reward is doubled, and a 2x Money boost runs alongside it, plus 500 Gems
Collect Day 7Money, 3,500 Gems, and the Veteran Skin as a streak reward

SCP classes and unlocking them
Summary
In shortStart with Safe-class SCPs to build income, then unlock Euclid and Keter through upgrades when you can afford the added risk.
SCPs are sorted into Safe, Euclid, and Keter classes based on how hard they are to contain. Placing one of every Safe-class SCP earns the Low Risk Containment Site badge; covering Euclid earns Manageable Risk... Right?, and covering Keter earns Breach Imminent. Placing every SCP in the game earns the Containment Specialist badge.
Safe class easiest to contain
Euclid class requires purchasing the relevant upgrade before placement
Keter class highest containment difficulty, also requires an upgrade unlock
Badge goal place one of every SCP across all three classes to earn Containment Specialist

How Scientists work and how to protect them
Tips
In shortPlacing desks close to SCPs speeds up testing income, but keep Scientists away from breach-prone containment chambers.
Scientists are research NPCs who walk to a desk or computer, observe a Class-D interacting with an SCP, and then award you Money. The amount earned depends on which SCP was tested. During a Containment Breach or Class-D Riot, Scientists panic and sprint in random directions, which puts them at risk. If SCP-4471-01 is on your site, it acts as a breach shelter: all personnel rush to it and cannot be harmed while inside. Dead personnel can be rehired for free.
Tips worth knowing
Place desks close to SCPs to cut travel time and speed up Money generation
Avoid parking desks next to breach-capable SCPs — the risk to Scientists is too high
Build or place SCP-4471-01 on your site so staff have somewhere safe to shelter during events
Rehire any Scientists lost in a breach for free rather than treating the loss as permanent
In shortConsistent testing and smart daily-reward collection are straightforward paths to nine figures.
Holding $100,000,000 at one time earns the Does the Foundation Pay Taxes? badge. Every SCP test, every daily reward, and every boost you activate contributes to the total.
Tips worth knowing
Run tests continuously — each completed SCP test pays out Money based on the SCP involved
Collect Day 6 rewards every week for the doubled cash plus 2x Money boost combination
Use Time Speed boosts from daily rewards to cycle through tests faster
Buy higher-priced SCPs over time so your Day 2, 5, 6, and 7 cash rewards scale upward

Common questions
FAQ
Can you play without spending Robux?
Yes. Money comes from running SCP tests, and Gems accumulate through playtime and daily logins. Most shop items have a Gem price alongside their Robux price.
What happens to your staff during a breach?
Scientists, Engineers, Medical Personnel, and Foundation Personnel all panic and run in random directions, which can get them killed. If SCP-4471-01 is on your site, they will rush to it instead and stay safe inside until the event ends.
How does the daily reward Money amount change?
The cash reward on Days 2, 5, 6, and 7 is based on the purchase price of the most expensive SCP you currently own. Buying a pricier SCP raises the baseline for all future cash rewards in the cycle.
Where do you enter codes?
Codes are entered through the Shop screen inside the game.
