Before you start playing
Check
The developers themselves recommend playing Undertale or DELTARUNE before starting Delta Worlds RPG, because the battle system works the same way. Main world order and minigames
Step
The main path runs through four worlds, and clearing each one earns you a badge that marks your progress. Minigames appear between worlds and have their own badges.
- Clear World 1 earn the WORLD 1 badge
- Play Minigame 1 has its own badge
- Clear World 2 earn the WORLD 2 badge
- Play Minigame 2 and Minigame 3 each has its own badge
- Clear World 3 earn the WORLD 3 badge
- Clear World 4 and Minigame 4 each has its own badge
Secret boss rewards

Route locking and how to avoid it
Warn
The BROKEN HEART badge triggers a one-way gate in your save file. Once the route is locked to RUTHLESS, there is no undoing it on that file — but you can sidestep it if you act fast, and the locked route itself has a badge reward if you choose to commit to it.
Special badge rewards worth chasing
Tips
Beyond the main world badges, a handful of achievements hand out weapons and items that you cannot get any other way.
- Earn the EPIKNESS badge to receive the Linked Sword
- Reach 100,000 Wins to earn the 100,000 WINS badge and receive the Dum Blade from Maannequin — collect it from Inventory, then Mails
- Beat Fred to earn the Five Worlds At Fred's badge and receive Pizza
- The VALENTINE EVENT badge rewards the HeartBow
- The BANNED badge is triggered by cheating — the game responds with its Ban Hammer

Glossary- LIGHT, DARK, and SHADOWED worlds
- The three types of worlds in the game; SHADOWED worlds shifting out of balance is what drives the main story.
- Route lock
- A mechanic that permanently fixes your save file to the RUTHLESS route after you earn the BROKEN HEART badge.
- RUTHLESS route
- The locked story path your save file is forced onto after the BROKEN HEART badge, which cannot be undone on that file.
- LOCKED SOUL RUN
- A badge earned by completing the game on a new file while playing on a locked route.
- Secret boss
- A hidden boss that sits outside the main story path and drops a unique weapon when defeated.
- Mails
- A section inside your Inventory where certain badge rewards, such as the Dum Blade, are delivered for you to claim.

Common questions
FAQDo I need to have played Undertale or DELTARUNE first?
The developers strongly recommend it, because Delta Worlds RPG uses the same style of turn-based battle system.
I got the BROKEN HEART badge — is my route locked?
Not yet, if you act immediately. Go to Settings and quit the game without saving, and the lock will not stick. If you already saved after getting the badge, your file is on the RUTHLESS route and will stay there.
How do I actually receive the Dum Blade after hitting 100,000 Wins?
Once you earn the 100,000 WINS badge, open your Inventory in the game and navigate to the Mails section. The Dum Blade will be waiting there for you to claim.
Is there any reward for finishing the game on a locked RUTHLESS route?
Yes. Start a brand-new save file and complete the full game while on a locked route, and you will earn the LOCKED SOUL RUN badge. The badge description confirms it should be awarded after you see the credits.
