About
OverviewTaffy Tails 2 is a 50-floor survival game set inside a candy factory run by a killer named Taffy. This guide covers how to get through each stage, handle the harder floors, and make progress in every mode the game offers.

The basics before you start moving
CheckEach of the 50 floors needs to be cleared one at a time. On every floor your job is to collect keys, avoid Taffy and the other candy monsters, dodge traps, and reach the exit alive. The early floors are forgiving, so use them to learn the rules before things get harder.
- Spot the hiding places on each floor before you go for a key
- Locate the keys before committing to a route, so you are not wandering blind
- Remember that surviving always comes before grabbing a key

Moving through the early floors
TipsTaffy and the other monsters have moments when they are not looking your way. Moving during those gaps is the core skill the early floors teach you. Take your time — a slow clear counts just as much as a fast one.
- Use walls and objects to break Taffy's line of sight rather than running in the open
- Move when the enemy is looking away, not the moment you spot a key
- After picking up a key, head straight for cover rather than going for the next one immediately
- When you die, think through which moment went wrong before you try again
- Memorising where keys sit on a floor pays off on any future run on that same level
Surviving the harder floors past floor 20
StepBeyond floor 20 the simple approach of hiding behind one object stops working. Several monsters can be active at once, and traps sometimes chain together.
- Track all enemies at once focus on one monster's position and confirm where the others are before moving
- Memorise trap locations step on one and commit that spot to memory so you never hit it again
- Plan an escape route before going for a key, not after you have already picked it up
- Look for a path around trouble rather than repeating the same line through it
- If a floor has you stumped, check whether your current route takes you through an enemy's field of view you have been ignoring
Boss fights at the end of each chapter
TipsEach chapter ends with a boss enemy that is tougher than anything on the floors before it. The key difference is speed and attack range. Expect to attempt each boss more than once, because the goal of the first few tries is to observe, not necessarily to win.
- Note any moment after an attack when the boss pauses — that is your window to move
- Find and remember the part of the arena where the boss rarely goes, then figure out how to reach it safely
- Do not give up after a quick string of failures — recognising the pattern is what unlocks the win
Hard mode and PVP
TableOnce you have cleared the main 50 floors, two extra modes open up more of the game. Hard mode introduces at least one new monster not found in the standard run. PVP lets you play on either side of the chase.
| Hard mode | a new monster named Cotton appears, and the difficulty across all floors is raised |
| Hard mode reward | clearing it once earns the Taffy Tails Hard Mode Champion badge |
| PVP Inspector side | team up with other players to beat the monster team |
| PVP Monster side | play as one of the candy monsters against the Inspector team |
| PVP progression | both sides have badges at 1 win and again at 50 wins, so there is a long track to work through |
Quests, the arcade mode, and group rewards
SummaryThe game tracks quests separately from floor clears. Finishing 25 of them earns the Quest Master badge. The Taffy Tails Arcade is its own 50-floor challenge distinct from the story mode, with badges at 5, 25, and 50 floors completed. Liking the game and joining the official group gets you special in-game rewards.
- Quests completing 25 earns a dedicated badge, so check the quest list regularly
- Arcade mode a separate 50-floor challenge; progress is tracked independently from the story
- Arcade milestones badges unlock at 5, 25, and 50 arcade floors cleared
- Group reward joining the official group grants in-game rewards confirmed by the game page
- Repeat runs beating Taffy 10, 50, and 100 times across any sessions earns its own badge chain
