Step

In short Moving and jumping are everything — learn these inputs before the acid starts rising.

When a round begins, acid starts rising from the floor and keeps climbing at a steady pace. Your job is to jump across platforms and climb higher to stay ahead of it. Touching the acid ends your run, so every second counts from the moment the round starts.

Move use WASD or the arrow keys to walk your character in any direction.
Jump press Spacebar to leap onto higher platforms and cross gaps.
Survive reach a safe height and stay there until the round ends.

The acid rises at a constant speed, which means you always know roughly how much time you have. Taking a moment to pick your next platform is almost always better than jumping blindly. Falling from a great height does not deal damage, so bold moves across open gaps are lower risk than they look.

Tips worth knowing

Focus only on the next platform in front of you rather than trying to map out the whole stage at once.
When you reach a branch in the path, pick a route and commit — hesitating in place lets the acid catch up.
After landing a jump, wait a beat before jumping again instead of mashing the button immediately.
