First steps when you join

Step
In short Learning the roll and attack controls before anything else gives you the best foundation.

When you first load in, an NPC called Egg will offer to explain the basics. Everything else follows from understanding how rolling works.

  1. Talk to Egg choose 'hello I am new' to get a walkthrough of the core systems.
  2. Jump into the arena the roll button sits at the top of your screen; press it to get your attack.
  3. Check your tool bar your attack appears at the bottom of the screen, and you click or tap to activate it.
  4. Find the quest NPC SoftAlmonds completing quests gives you a 0.75 luck boost for 15 minutes.
  5. Visit the shop luck upgrades there increase your chances of rolling rarer attacks.

How luck and quests work together

Tips
In short Quest boosts and shop upgrades both raise your luck.

Every quest rewards a 0.75 luck boost lasting 15 minutes. Quests fall into three types: kill quests, damage quests, and roll quests.

Tips worth knowing
  • Kill quests ask you to eliminate a set number of players, sometimes with a specific attack equipped.
  • Damage quests require you to deal a fixed amount of damage — 200 to 600 depending on the quest — using a named attack or any attack.
  • Roll quests simply ask you to roll a particular attack a set number of times.
  • Completing all three Halloween 2025 quests — roll Ghost three times, collect four glowing pumpkins, kill 20 players, and defeat the Headless Horseman — unlocks the Hallows Edge badge.

Fighting D E A T H — by phase

Step
In short D E A T H has six distinct phases, and knowing when to hide versus when to attack is the difference between a kill and a death.

When D E A T H is rolled, a full-screen cutscene plays and a server announcement appears. Each phase changes the player's stats significantly.

  1. Cutscene plays use the invincibility window to move away and try to roll a better attack before the fight begins.
  2. Awakened phase starts unless you have a 500-or-rarer attack, keep your distance and avoid direct confrontation.
  3. Enraged phase begins if your attack is rarer than 1 in 1,000, hide or reset and wait at spawn; this is the most dangerous window.
  4. Atmosphere lightens (weak phase) you have roughly 30 seconds to deal damage; only commit if you carry a 100-or-rarer attack.
  5. Rebirth phase treat it exactly like the Awakened phase and give ground again.
  6. Music ends the D E A T H player dies automatically; land a hit just before the end to claim the kill. Also watch for Supernova players reaching 25 charges at any point, since that instantly wipes a D E A T H.
06

360-NoScope kill thresholds

Table
In short 360-NoScope becomes dramatically stronger at 50 kills and again at 100, with a dangerous weak phase in between at 80 kills.

The attack changes stats eight times based on your kill count. The weak phase at 80 kills is the best window to take a 360-NoScope player down before they reach their strongest form.

0–2 kills100 damage, 3-second cooldown.
10–24 killscooldown drops to 2 seconds.
50–79 killscooldown falls to 1.5 seconds with 135 damage.
80–99 killsweak phase; stats drop sharply, same threat level as the starting phase.
100–359 kills125 damage, 1.25-second cooldown, 200 health.
360+ killsstats ease back slightly.

Badge requirements worth knowing

Check
In short Most hard badges require a specific rare attack combined with a separate condition, so plan before you chase them.

Kill-count badges and the Devourer badges do not need any specific attack. Everything else ties to a roll.

  • True Chaos requires D E A T H, Singularity, and Eternal (or E R R O R) all active in the same server simultaneously; you cannot trigger it with duplicates of the same attack.
  • Supernova roll Supernova (1 in 800), then build the charge meter to exactly 25 and trigger the ability.
  • Time Paradox roll Time God (1 in 250) and stay alive until the in-game timer reaches 10 minutes; VIP servers do not count.
  • 50 Streak and 100 Streak roll 360-NoScope (1 in 360) and reach 50 or 100 kills in a single run without dying.
  • Bounty Hunter claim 5 bounties in a single life without dying; VIP servers do not count.
  • Uno Reverse counter Nani (1 in 80) using Ultra Instinct (1 in 150).
  • Billionaire accumulate 9,999 in-game currency.
  • Devourer of Hellfire Galaxies and Final Stand defeat the Devourer boss while alive; Final Stand requires doing it alone.
08

Randomized and why its rarity misleads you

Warn
In short A rarer Randomized roll does not guarantee better stats, so never assume it outclasses a consistent rare attack.

Randomized is the only attack in the game with fluctuating stats — its damage, health, and speed all vary each time. Its rarity sits anywhere between 1 in 25 and 1 in 99.

Worth watching out for
A low-rarity Randomized can still spawn with poor stats rarity and power are not linked for this attack.
Randomized is also the only attack that can drop below 100 max health, so check your stats immediately after rolling it.
When facing a Randomized user, treat their threat level the same as an UltraPunch player.

Common questions

FAQ

Do kill badges count on VIP servers?

No. The 100 Kills, 1,000 Total Kills, 10,000 Total Kills, Bounty Hunter, and Time Paradox badges all require public servers. Kills and bounties earned on VIP servers do not progress these badges.

How do I unlock Ghost and Present?

Ghost requires the Hallows Edge upgrade from the shop, and Present requires the Winters Blessing upgrade. Once the upgrade is equipped, those attacks can appear in your normal roll pool.

What is the True Chaos badge and how hard is it to get?

True Chaos requires D E A T H (1 in 1,666), Singularity (1 in 2,500), and either Eternal (1 in 3,500) or E R R O R (1 in 5,000) all rolled and active in the same server at the same time. Rolling the same attack more than once does not count toward the combination, so all three must be different attacks.
