About

Overview

Bee Swarm Simulator is a Roblox game where you build a hive of bees, collect pollen from flower fields, and convert it into honey. That honey buys better tools, bags, and eggs, which lets you reach new areas and take on tougher monsters. This guide covers everything you need to go from your first hive slot to unlocking advanced shops and earning badges.

Your first five minutes

Step
In short Claiming a hive and hatching your first bee is the only thing that matters before you touch a flower field.

Every new player receives a Basic Egg, a Pouch, and a Scooper automatically. The tutorial is a 36-page slideshow you can revisit any time from the question-mark button at the top right of the screen, so do not stress if you skip it.

  1. Claim a hive walk up to any unclaimed hive on the edge of the map and press E, or tap the large blue button that appears at the top of the screen.
  2. Hatch your bee drag the Basic Egg into an empty slot in your hive.
  3. Head to the Sunflower Field or Dandelion Field these are the closest fields and the easiest to farm early on.
  4. Collect pollen hold down the mouse button (or hold on an empty part of the screen on mobile) to auto-collect with your Scooper.
  5. Return to your hive when your bag is full your bees convert the pollen into honey while you stand there.
  6. Talk to Black Bear he is near the hives and gives pollen-collection quests.

Tool and bag upgrade order

Table
In short Buy bags and tools in step with each other so your bag never fills up faster than your tool can earn, and your tool never outpaces a bag too small to hold what it collects.

All tools below are available in the Noob Shop or Pro Shop. Pollen-per-second figures come from the wiki's item list.

Bag upgrades to pair with your tools

Tips
In short A bag that is too small wastes every trip back to the hive.

The Noob Shop sells the Jar (750 pollen capacity, 650 honey) and Backpack (3,500 pollen, 5,500 honey). The Pro Shop continues the line up through the Port-O-Hive at 1,250,000 honey, which also adds a 5% instant conversion bonus on top of raw capacity.

Tips worth knowing
  • Start with the Jar — it costs only 650 honey.
  • Grab the Backpack next for 5,500 honey.
  • The Canister (22,000 honey) and Mega-Jug (50,000 honey) both add a convert rate bonus on top of capacity.
  • The Port-O-Hive adds a 5% instant conversion bonus, meaning some pollen converts to honey automatically without a hive trip.
  • Blue Port-O-Hive and Red Port-O-Hive from their respective HQ shops each add colour-specific pollen and attack bonuses on top of capacity.
04

Opening the bee-count gates

Check
In short The numbered gates around the map require total bees in your hive, not unique species, so hatching duplicates counts.

Eggs get more expensive each time you buy the same type, so quest-reward eggs are especially valuable.

  • Use quest-reward eggs to fill hive slots rather than buying new eggs whenever possible.
  • Royal Jelly changes one existing bee into a random new type it does not add a bee.

Bear quests and why they matter

Table
In short Every bear hands out a different kind of quest, so match your farming route to whichever bears you can reach.

Quest rewards range from honey and eggs to tickets, royal jellies, and rare crafting materials. Science Bear's translator questline and Spirit Bear's questline must both be finished to unlock certain later content, making them the only quests that are strictly required for progression.

Black Bearpollen collection quests that scale up to Gold Egg and Diamond Egg rewards as you progress.
Panda Bearcombat-focused quests past the 5-bee gate.
Science Bearvariety quests covering bee discovery, goo, and ability tokens.
06

Badges, tickets, and locked areas

Summary
In short Badges pay out tickets and permanent stat boosts, and several of them also serve as keys to areas you cannot enter any other way.

Every non-event badge announces itself to the whole server when you earn it. Higher ranks overwrite the boost from lower ranks in the same category rather than stacking. Event badges do not give tickets or boosts, but Beesmas badges unlock two special masks with their own bonuses.

  • Tickets earned Cadet pays 5, Hotshot pays 10, Ace pays 15, Master pays 25, Grandmaster pays 40.
  • Honey badges reward a convert rate boost; ranks at 1M, 10M, 100M, 1B, and 20B honey collected.
  • Field badges each flower field has its own badge line starting at 250,000 pollen; different fields give different stat bonuses (capacity, conversion speed, pollen colour bonuses).
  • Battle badges reward critical power; ranks at 100, 1,000, 10,000, 50,000, and 500,000 battle points.
  • Goo Hotshot badge required to enter Gummy Bear's Lair (needs 5,000,000 goo collected).
  • 15 badges of any rank required to enter the Badge Bearer's Guild, which sells sprinklers and houses the Blender; one Ace badge then unlocks the inner room with the Honey Mask and high-tier guards.
07

Gifted bees and where to spend tickets

Tips
In short Gifted bees give a Hive Bonus to every bee you own, so diversifying species matters more than stacking duplicates.

A Gifted bee's Hive Bonus applies to your entire hive, but owning two Gifted bees of the same species does not double the bonus. Star Treat is the only item that guarantees a Gifted result. Royal Jelly randomises the species of one existing bee — it does not increase your bee count.

Tips worth knowing
  • Save Gold Eggs — five are needed to craft the Honey Mask at the Badge Bearer's Guild.
  • Save Diamond Eggs — five are needed to craft the Diamond Mask.
08

Fighting monsters

Warn
In short Empty your bag before engaging any mob so a death does not cost you a full load of pollen.

Your bees deal the damage automatically; your job is to stay alive and position yourself well.

Worth watching out for
Use a Stinger to multiply your bees' attack by 1.5 for 30 seconds before a tough fight.
If you get frozen by a snowball, jump immediately after thawing and move sideways rather than straight back to avoid being frozen again.
09

Mutations

Tips
In short Mutations give individual bees a bonus on top of all other modifiers, and higher-level bees can receive stronger mutations.

A mutated bee shows a different-coloured level number in its hive slot. Feeding a bee a Bitterberry gives a 1-in-1,000 chance of triggering a mutation. If the bee is already radioactive, that chance jumps to 1-in-100. Atomic Treats guarantee a mutation outright. Using a Royal Jelly or egg on a mutated bee almost always removes the mutation, just as it strips Gifted status.

Tips worth knowing
  • Radioactive bees spread radiation to neighbouring hive slots, which raises mutation odds for adjacent bees as well.
  • Higher-level bees can receive stronger mutation values.
  • Percentage mutations multiply the bee's base stat after all other modifiers; flat number mutations add to the base before multiplicative bonuses apply.
  • Equipping a Beequip unequips automatically when a mutation triggers, so re-equip it manually afterward.
  • Royal Jellies and Star Jellies also have a small chance (1-in-5,000, or 1-in-100 if the bee is radioactive) to trigger a mutation on their own.
10

Promo codes

Step
In short Codes are case-insensitive and space-insensitive, so type them however is easiest and redeem them quickly before they expire.

Codes give prizes including honey, tickets, gumdrops, royal jelly, crafting materials, boosts, and field boosts. This site tracks currently working codes — twelve were active as of October 2, 2026. The codes themselves are inserted live on this page rather than printed here.

  1. Open the System Page it is at the top of the in-game menu.
  2. Find the code entry field and type or paste your code.
  3. Confirm the entry a message tells you what you received, or whether the code is expired or already used.
  4. Each code can only be redeemed once per account you will see a message saying you have already redeemed it if you try again.

Common questions

FAQ

Should I spend Gold Eggs or Diamond Eggs right away?

Hold onto both. Five Gold Eggs are required to craft the Honey Mask at the Badge Bearer's Guild, and five Diamond Eggs are required for the Diamond Mask.

My bees keep going back to the hive to sleep — is something broken?

That is normal. Bees have an energy stat and return to the hive to rest when it runs out, then come back to you automatically once they have recovered.

Can I undo a Royal Jelly if I do not like the result?

There is no undo. You can use another Royal Jelly or egg on the same slot to reroll again, but there is no guarantee you will get a specific bee back.

How do I enter the Badge Bearer's Guild?

You need at least 15 badges of any rank. Once inside, a second inner room is locked behind a gate that requires at least one Ace badge to pass through.

Do badges in the same category stack with each other?

No. Earning a higher-rank badge in a category replaces the boost from the lower rank rather than adding to it.
