Getting started in the spawn area

Step
In short Rotating between rocks and the level 5 trainer near spawn is the fastest way to get your first few levels and some early Bey-Parts.

When you first load in, head to the park at the spawn point. A level 5 trainer NPC is there and drops experience, money, and occasionally Bey-Parts. Rocks scattered around the area also give money and experience, so work both sources together.

  1. Find the trainer talk to the level 5 trainer NPC in the starter park and fight it for experience, money, and a chance at Bey-Parts.
  2. Hit rocks break rocks between trainer fights to keep the money and experience flowing.
  3. Spend stat points on Stamina you get 2 stat points per level, and Stamina raises your HP.
  4. Move to Radio Tower next once you outgrow spawn, the Radio Tower area has level 30 Cobblestones and trainers from level 25 to 40.

Boss progression order

Table
In short Each boss unlocks meaningful rewards, and defeating them gives a +15% stat badge bonus, so working through them in order is the core progression loop.

Bosses are spread across the map and each one has a level associated with it. Every boss you defeat grants a badge that adds a flat +15% stat boost, and bosses also drop rare shards, auras, and fragments used to unlock skills.

Defense + Staminavery tanky; pairs with defense-scaling skills like Alternate Angle, Chains, and Protect.
Stamina onlymaximum survivability; pairs with Stamina-scaling skills like Siphon and Sacrifice.
Speed buildfast movement and faster hits.
Jack-of-All-Tradespoints spread evenly; flexible but not specialized in any direction.

Skills, Bey-Parts, and fragments

Tips
In short Skills are unlocked through Bey-Parts and fragments, and raising them to Tier V can evolve them into more powerful versions.

Skills are the active moves your blade uses in battle and cover offense, defense, and utility. Each skill has a stat it scales with, so pairing skills with the matching stat investment makes them significantly stronger. You can find Bey-Parts from vending machines around the map, as drops from defeated trainers, or by buying from the Black Market Dealer. Fragments drop from bosses and are a separate but related way to unlock some of the same skills. Not every skill has a fragment version — some are available only through Bey-Parts.

Tips worth knowing
  • When a skill's Bey-Part or fragment reaches Tier V, it evolves into a stronger form — for example, Burst becomes Mega Burst and Accelerate becomes Perfect Acceleration.
  • Skills that scale with Stamina include Whirlwind, Tornado, Magnet Pull, Regenerate, Parry, Siphon, Whirlpool, and Ice Pillars.
  • Skills that scale with Defense include Shield, Chains, Venom Bite, Alternate Angle, Soaring Bite, Gravity Field, Dragonbreath, Blackhole, Voltage Flux, Cthulhu's Wrath, and Dragonbite.
  • Skills that scale with Attack include Uppercut, Sun of Ra, Shark Bite, Moonlight Flurry, and Vortex Storm.
  • The Black Market Dealer NPC moves between several locations on the map, including the WBBA tower, the garage near the skatepark, and the arctic zone portal area.
  • Boss fragments require a minimum level of 500 to equip.
05

The Battle Tower

Check
In short The Battle Tower is a high-level dungeon that rewards experience and Wen currency for buying some of the game's best Bey-Part sets.

The Odyssey Battle Tower sits in one of the four corners of the map and can be reached on foot or by hoverboard. The receptionist will turn you away if you are below level 500. Each run costs $500,000, and trainer opponents start at level 450 and scale up by 50 per floor — then by 100 per floor after you clear floor 18. Rewards are collected by speaking to the receptionist and selecting the option to collect and leave.

  • Reach level 500 before attempting to enter the receptionist refuses entry below this threshold.
  • Have $500,000 ready that is the entry fee each time you start a run.
  • Earn Wen from completed floors and spend it at the Battle Tower vending machines on sets like Angel and Atronador.
  • The Angel set focuses on Defense and Stamina and comes with Regenerate, Siphon, and Protect.
  • The Atronador set focuses on Attack and Stamina and comes with Flame Claw, Parry, and Sacrifice.
  • Both sets cost 1,000 Wen each at the tower vending machines.
06

The Rebirth system

Summary
In short Rebirth is the game's prestige system and the only path to the level cap of 9,999.

Once you hit the level threshold for a Rebirth, you can prestige and push into higher level ranges. Each Rebirth tier has its own badge milestone, and reaching them marks serious progress. Note that switching your Bey or performing a Rebirth resets all active quest objectives, so finish quests before doing either.

  • Rebirth 1 (Ascended) first prestige milestone.
  • Rebirth 3 (Transcendent) mid-game prestige milestone.
  • Rebirth 5 (Guardian) advanced prestige milestone.
  • Level cap 9,999, reachable only by continuing through multiple Rebirths.
  • Quest reset all quest objectives clear when you Rebirth or switch your Bey.
07

Traits on Bey-Parts

Tips
In short Traits are passive bonuses attached to Bey-Parts and fragments, and higher rarity traits give better effects.

Traits appear on Bey-Parts and fragments and add a bonus on top of the part's normal stats. There are four rarity tiers — Common, Uncommon, Rare, and Legendary — plus a Super tier that removes the active skill slot on the part. The vending machine has an 80% chance of providing a trait on a part.

Tips worth knowing
  • Common traits boost one stat directly — Healthy for Stamina, Agile for Speed, Strong for Attack, Tanky for Defense.
  • Uncommon traits add utility effects like LifeSteal, Thorns, and Armor.
  • Rare traits include Critical (crit chance), Training (more EXP gained), and Enchanted (raises the skill's tier by one).
  • Legendary traits like Powerful boost both Attack and Defense at once.
  • Super traits give a boosted version of a Common trait but remove the part's active skill slot entirely.
  • The set bonus from equipping matching parts caps at 10% with three parts equipped.

Common questions

FAQ

Where is the first boss and when should I fight it?

The first boss, Georgiano Alfredo, is inside the Bladers Fitness building marked with a purple streak. From the spawn park, face the electrical tower and cobblestone road, then follow the road to your left. The boss is level 100.

What should I spend my stat points on?

Start by putting points into Stamina, since it raises your HP. Once your HP feels solid, shift points toward whichever stat your preferred skills scale with — for example, Attack for damage skills like Dragon Strike, or Defense for skills like Alternate Angle.

How do I get Bey-Parts without spending a lot of money?

Defeating trainer NPCs gives you a chance to receive Bey-Parts as drops. The Black Market Dealer also stocks parts daily, though its prices vary unpredictably. Vending machines are another source but require in-game money.

What happens when I switch my Bey or do a Rebirth?

Both actions reset all of your active quest objectives, so any progress toward incomplete quests is lost.

How do I get into the Battle Tower?

You need to be at least level 500 and have $500,000 in cash ready to pay the entry fee. The tower is located in one of the corners of the main map and can be reached on foot or by hoverboard.
