QUICKDRAW: LEGACY — Controls to learn before you fire your first shot
About
OverviewQUICKDRAW: LEGACY is a hardcore western shooter on Roblox where bullets travel physically out of the barrel, there is no crosshair, and movement affects where your shots actually land. This guide covers controls, weapons, shooting mechanics, key locations, bartending, and the game's badge goals so you can get up and running fast.

Controls to learn before you fire your first shot
CheckThe single biggest mistake new players make is tapping the fire button and wondering why nothing happens. Every firing action in this game requires you to hold the button down. The same logic applies to focus, quickdraw, and full reload. Get these inputs right first and everything else falls into place.
- Fire hold LMB on PC, hold the fire button on mobile; tapping does nothing
- Focus (steady aim) hold RMB on PC, hold L2 on controller
- Equip or unequip press Q; hold Q to enter quickdraw state
- Reload press R once to load a single round, hold R to fill the gun completely
- Slow walk hold Left Shift; crouch — hold Left Control
- Switch inventory items scroll the mouse wheel or press 1 or 2
How bullets and fire spread actually work
TipsThere is no crosshair and no random bullet spread. Every shot travels from the barrel in the direction the gun is pointing. When you move, your arms and torso sway, and that sway directly shifts where the bullet goes. Control your movement and you control your shots.
- Stand still when you shoot — movement causes sway that throws off your aim
- Every headshot you land speeds up your next reload by roughly 20 percent
- Bullets can pass through walls depending on the material and thickness of the surface
- When using the Winchester, hold Space while in focus mode to steady the gun further with a breath hold
- In quickdraw state you cannot reload or use focus, but your draw and fire rate are much faster
- To leave quickdraw state, press R to switch back to regular firing mode
Weapon stats at a glance
TableDamage figures are per shot. The Shotgun unlock is currently blocked because the quest bottles needed to earn it have been removed from the game.
| Weapon | Damage per shot | Ammo capacity | How to unlock |
|---|---|---|---|
| Revolver | 65 | 6 | Available from the start |
| Winchester | 90 | 5 | Available from the start |
| Shotgun | 85 | 2 | Quest unlock — currently unavailable |
| Borchardt | 25 | 10 | Gamepass purchase required |
| Dynamite | Kills in radius | 1 per 3-kill streak or per minute | Gamepass purchase required |
Saloon positioning and its weak points
TableThe Saloon has one entrance and one staircase to the upper floor, which makes it easy to hold. The high ground lets you line up shots on players in the street below. Those same walls, however, can be shot through, and sitting still in one spot turns you into an easy target.
| High ground | the second floor balcony angles well for shooting players at street level |
| Single entry | one door and one staircase mean fewer directions to watch |
| Wall penetration risk | the Saloon walls can be shot through, so any player outside can wallbang you |
| Clipping danger | backing into a wall partially pushes your character outside, showing enemies exactly where to shoot |
| Bartender limit | while working the bar you cannot equip a weapon, so you cannot fight back at all |
Getting into the Vault without the code
StepThe Vault door has a keypad, but there is a faster method that works especially well on mobile where typing numbers is awkward. The guard inside will walk out when the entrance is shot, and he will not attack while he is moving toward you.
- Shoot the entrance the guard reacts and walks out through the door
- Move inside the door stays open for roughly 15 seconds after it opens
- Take down the guard he needs 5 rifle headshots or 6 revolver headshots to drop; he only becomes aggressive once you are inside the Vault
Bartending and named drinks
TipsThe Saloon bar lets you pour ingredients in specific ratios to create named drinks. Order does not matter, only the ratio does. Most two-ingredient drinks follow a 60/40 split.
- Night Watch is Coffee Extract at 60 and Cream Soda at 40 — quote: 'The Fog lifts. Your hands hold true.'
- Gold Rush is Honey Syrup at 40, Peach Syrup at 40, and Sparkling Water at 20 — noted to reduce rifle sway
- Glacier Melt is Blue Spring at 70 and Mint Extract at 30 — quote: 'Cold and clear. Your aim settles.'
- Gravewater is Mystery Essence at 40, Lime Cordial at 20, Blackberry Concentrate at 20, and Charcoal Soda at 20 — kills the drinker after about one minute
Badge goals and the hardest ones to earn
SummaryKill-count badges are awarded the moment your total hits the target number, through any means. MORGAN requires 6 kills in under 2 seconds, but the co-developer confirmed several additional rules that must all be met at the same time. As of September 24, 2026, no player has earned MORGAN through normal play; the only holder was banned for exploiting.
- TRIGGER-HAPPY 1,000 kills total
- BLOOD TRAIL 5,000 kills total
- NO MERCY 10,000 kills total
- GRIM REAPER 20,000 kills total
- MASSACRE INCARNATE 100,000 kills; one legitimate holder as of September 24, 2026
- MORGAN 6 headshot kills in under 2 seconds; all victims at least 14 studs apart from each other; you at least 18 studs from each victim; server must have 8 or more players; no private servers; no kills on friends; no NPC shots at any point
Glossary
Glossary- Fire spread
- The shift in where your bullet lands caused by moving your character — it is tied directly to how you move, not random.
- Quickdraw state
- A mode entered by holding Q that removes the ability to reload or focus in exchange for a much faster draw and fire rate.
- Focus
- Holding RMB to steady your aim; on the Winchester you can also hold Space at the same time to suppress gun sway further.
- Wallbang
- Shooting through a wall and hitting a player on the other side; whether it works depends on the wall's material and thickness.
- Stud
- Roblox's unit of in-game distance, used in conditions like the MORGAN badge and the DEADEYE TRIAL badge.
- Vault Guard
- A neutral NPC at the Vault who only attacks when you enter the Vault; he can be pulled outside by shooting the entrance.
Common questions
FAQWhy won't my gun fire?
You need to hold the fire button down, not tap it. On PC that is holding LMB, and on mobile you hold the on-screen fire button. Tapping does nothing in this game.
Can I get the Shotgun right now?
Not currently. The Shotgun unlocks through a quest that involves shooting bottles, but those bottles have been removed from the map. The unlock is unavailable until they are restored.
Does ADS or quickdraw state change whether I can shoot through walls?
No. Whether a bullet passes through a wall depends only on the wall's material and thickness. Being in ADS or quickdraw state has no effect on wallbang capability.
What happens if I try for MORGAN but shoot an NPC by accident?
Shooting any NPC at any point immediately voids your progress toward MORGAN. You would need to start the attempt again from scratch in a qualifying server.
Is there a way into the Vault without typing the door code?
Yes. Shoot the entrance and the guard inside will walk out on his own, leaving the door open for roughly 15 seconds. This is the easiest way for mobile players to access the vault.
