Getting into the game for the first time

Step

In short Three key presses — T, then your choices, then H — get you morphed and ready to play.

When you first load in, you are not yet a Ranger, so the first thing to do is open the team selector and pick who you want to be. Once you have made your choices, morphing is instant. Check the menu tab if you ever forget what you can do.

Open the team selector press T to bring up the team selector screen.
Choose your series and Ranger scroll through the available series and pick the specific Ranger you want to play as.
Morph press H to transform into the Ranger you selected.
Check your options press M to open the menu and see every action available to your Ranger.

Movement options and when to use them

In short Mixing all three movement tools gives you the most control in both combat and roleplay.

The game gives you three ways to move faster than a walk. Learning when to use each one makes a big difference during battles.

Taunts and Ranger-specific abilities

Tips

In short Taunts are Ranger-specific, and super speed flight is only available to certain Rangers.

Taunting is one of the main things to do between fights, and the options you get depend entirely on which Ranger you picked. Super speed and flight work the same way — not every Ranger has them.

Tips worth knowing

Press G to open the taunt menu and perform your Ranger's signature poses.
Each Ranger has its own set of taunts.
Press B to activate super speed and flight, but only Rangers who support that ability will respond to it.

Tips

In short The roster pulls from several different Power Rangers series, so there is a wide range of characters to try.

The demo includes characters from a number of series, ranging from complete teams to individual additions. Morph animations vary by series.

Tips worth knowing

Lost Galaxy is represented with the rest of the core team filled out and morph animations included.
Cosmic Fury has its full team available, though helmets are subject to change.
Bun Black and Bun Orange have both been added as individual characters.
Zenith Ranger can be found inside Ryusoulger within the team selector.
Additional individual picks include Twokaizer, Red Prime Ranger, Beast Kaiger Red, and Gearranger Red.

Badges and what they ask you to do

In short Most badges are tied to specific missions or challenge conditions, so knowing them ahead of time helps you plan your runs.

The game has nine badges in total. Several are earned just by playing or being online at the right time, but others require you to clear specific missions or meet extra conditions during a run.

Identify The Escape Route, Plan The Base Defense, Stop The Nightmare clear Missions 1, 2, and 3 in the Dream World respectively.
The Ol' Reliable beat Mission 2 in the Dream World using only the Pistol the whole way through.
Give No Quarter defeat Gokai Black to take his Ranger Key and unlock the ability to Gokai Change.
Absolute Atomic collect all Godranger Armor Parts, then defeat the Gojira Kyo-Cell Spirit.
Orange Death after obtaining Zeztz, go back to Mission 1 and recover the Statue, then defeat Death Orange.
CODE completing this unlocks the Dream Hero Kamen Rider ZEZTZ belt.

Free play and supporting development

Morph: The transformation a Ranger performs to become powered up, triggered by pressing H after selecting your character.
Team Selector: The screen opened with T that lets you choose both the series and the specific Ranger you want to play as.
Taunt Menu: The menu opened with G that gives your Ranger access to signature poses and actions.

FAQ

Do I need to spend Robux to access all the Rangers and features?

No. Every Ranger, morph, taunt, and movement ability is free. The store only offers optional donations for players who want to support development.

Why does pressing B do nothing when I play as certain Rangers?

Super speed and flight are only available to specific Rangers, not all of them. If B has no effect, the Ranger you have selected does not have that ability.

How do I earn The Ol' Reliable badge?

You need to complete Mission 2 in the Dream World using only the Pistol.

What is the Dream World?

The Dream World is the area that contains the three missions tied to the Identify The Escape Route, Plan The Base Defense, and Stop The Nightmare badges. Each badge corresponds to clearing one of its three missions.
