- Challenge a demon once your strength is high enough, pick a demon and fight it.

Ways to strengthen your sword

Your sword has three separate upgrade paths, and none of them locks out the others.
- Forging raises a sword's base performance using the in-game forge system.
- Empowering is a separate upgrade layer that pushes the sword's power beyond what forging alone can reach.
- The weapon enchantment trait system lets you add or change a trait on your sword — the game gives you 100 draws to land the trait you want.
- Silver keys and gold keys you do not need can be sold as key fragments, and large prop items can be sold outright for extra currency.
- Reaching Map 10 opens a recently updated shop with stronger swords and equipment than earlier maps offer.
