Check
The control scheme is small, so there is very little to memorize before you start exploring.
- E press it to make your celestial body emote

Picking a celestial body and roleplaying
Tips
The whole point of Planetball World is to inhabit a celestial body — a planet, star, satellite, or something else entirely — and treat it as your character. Version 1.4 added new satellite morphs, so the roster has grown beyond the original solar system lineup. You can also swap your celestial-body role with another player if you both want to trade identities.
- Browse the available morphs and pick the celestial body that suits you
- Satellite players got several new morph options added in the Version 1.4 update
- Approach another player to swap celestial-body roles with them
- The game works perfectly as a solo experience, so you never have to interact with others if you prefer not to
Badge hunting and what you earn
Step
There are four badges in the game. Earning badges is how you unlock unique planetballs and hats.
- Join the game you receive the Welcome to Planetball badge on your first visit
- Keep playing the Played Alpha badge is awarded for supporting the game since its early days
- Find Planet 9 explore the solar system until you locate this mysterious planet and trigger its badge
- Head to the Kuiper Belt Halley's Comet spawns randomly in that region, so search broadly until it appears, then claim it for its badge
- Collect your rewards badges unlock unique planetballs and hats

Glossary- Morph
- Transforming into a specific celestial body so you look and roleplay as that object.
- Emote
- An animation your character performs when you press E, used to express yourself in character.
- Kuiper Belt
- The outer region of the solar system where Halley's Comet badge spawns randomly.
- Badge
- An in-game achievement awarded for completing a specific action, which also unlocks unique cosmetic rewards.
- Roleplay
- Playing as a character — here, a celestial body — and acting out its role in the game world.
