Artificial Warfare — Creating your first NPC
About
OverviewArtificial Warfare is a Roblox game where you build your own NPC fighters, send them into battle, and watch them talk using AI-generated dialogue. This guide covers how to create your first NPC, what private servers add, and how to get the most out of each session.

Creating your first NPC
StepEverything starts from a single button at the bottom left of your screen. Once you are inside that menu, a configure icon takes you to the creation screen where you fill in your character's details.
- Open the NPC Menu click the button at the bottom left of the screen.
- Hit the configure icon this moves you to the NPC creation screen.
- Load the NPC in your character is now ready to fight or talk with other NPCs.
How AI dialogue works
TipsThe game uses text generation to write every line your NPC speaks, so you never type dialogue yourself. What you write in the personality and background fields shapes what the AI produces.
- You never write dialogue manually — the AI handles every line automatically.
- Because dialogue is generated fresh each time, the same NPC can have different conversations across sessions.
Public servers vs. private servers
TableBoth modes let you create NPCs and watch them fight, but they differ in how many NPCs can be active at once and what features are available.
| NPC limit | scales down as more players join a public server; fixed in a private server. |
| Power slots | standard in public; tripled in a private server. |
| Damage multiplier | not available in public; unlocked in a private server. |
| Health | normal cap in public; unlimited in a private server. |
| SpawnPads | not available in public; placeable in a private server. |
Private server commands
CheckPrivate server members can type commands to control the battlefield. These are the tools currently available.
- Check that you know /clearallnpcs removes every NPC on the map when you want a clean reset.
- Check that you know /buildingtools gives you tools to reshape and customise the map itself.
- Check that you know /spawnpad followed by an NPC name, a rate, and a limit places a spawn point that brings that NPC into the match automatically.
- Check that you know /clearallspawnpads deletes every spawn point you have placed.

- SpawnPad
- A point you place on the map (private servers only) that causes a chosen NPC to appear at a set rate up to a set limit.

Common questions
FAQWhy do I have fewer NPCs on a public server when more players join?
The game automatically reduces the NPC count as the player population grows. If you want a fixed NPC population, a private server removes that restriction entirely.
Do I need to write my NPC's lines myself?
No — every line is generated automatically.
