Dandy's World is a mascot horror survival game by BlushCrunch Studio where up to eight players work together to repair machines and descend deeper into Gardenview Center while avoiding twisted enemies. The game is still in Alpha, so bugs and unexpected changes can happen. This guide covers getting started, playing your role, surviving encounters, using items well, earning badges, and redeeming codes.
In shortSpend a few minutes in the lobby getting your loadout sorted before you step into an elevator.
When you first join, you pick one of two free Toons before entering the lobby. From there you can browse Dandy's Store for new Toons and Trinkets, visit Dyle's Store for Stickers and Skins, and check your Mastery progress. When you are ready, head to one of the three elevator shafts — each holds up to eight players.
Pick your Toonchoose one of the two free starting characters if it is your first time.
Explore the storesfind Dandy's Store and Dyle's Store so you know where to spend Ichor later.
Enter an elevatorwalk in and press the Matchmaking button to join other players.
Wait for the countdownthe elevator closes 15 seconds after the first player steps in, then the round begins.
Use the pre-game screenyou have 45 seconds to swap your loadout or buy items before spawning on the first floor.
In shortKnowing your role and sticking to it keeps the team alive far longer than everyone trying to do everything at once.
Every Toon has five stats: Health, Stamina, Speed, Extraction, and Stealth. Those stats push each character toward a natural role. A group that covers at least two or three different roles will clear floors much more reliably than one where everyone plays the same way.
Distractor
high Speed and Stamina; draws Twisteds away so teammates can work on machines safely.
Extractor
high Extraction stat; repairs machines quickly during the windows Distractors create.
Support
strong healing or item abilities; keeps wounded teammates topped up and shares useful items.
Stealth
high Stealth stat; moves without triggering nearby Twisteds and repairs alone in dangerous areas.

In shortStamina discipline and staying alert during repairs are core survival habits.
Twisteds detect players by sight and sound.
Tips worth knowing
Pick up every Research Capsule you see — each one gives 2 Ichor and reveals information about the Twisted on that floor.
Stay alert during repair — a missed Skill Check brings Twisteds straight to you.
05
Using items at the right moment
Tips
In shortItems used at exactly the right time win chases and save teammates; items hoarded until you die help nobody.
Items are found on floors, bought in the pre-run shop, or purchased with Tapes at Dandy's Elevator Shop. Using any item rewards you with Tapes, with the amount depending on the item's rarity. Items fall into four main categories: repair assistance, escape assistance, healing, and distraction.
Tips worth knowing
Use Bandages the moment you take damage and save Health Kits for when you are nearly out of hearts.
Pop and Bottle o' Pop refill stamina during chases.
Stopwatch, Instructions, Jumper Cable, and Valve can only be used while actively repairing a machine.
Stealth Candy is best when a high-detection Twisted is nearby and escape is not easy.
Eject Button is Ultra Rare — it boosts speed, raises Stealth, and removes the Slow debuff.
Air Horn deliberately lowers your Stealth by 50 for 10 seconds and alerts nearby Twisteds to your location.
06
Floor structure and special floors
Summary
In shortUnderstanding how floors scale and when special floors appear lets you prepare rather than be caught off guard.
Each floor has at least two machines and two Twisteds, with both counts rising as your group descends. The maximum number of Twisteds on a floor is eight in a full lobby, or six in a solo run. Every floor also carries items and Research Capsules. A Break Room spawns after every 25th floor — it has two machines in preset spots and no Twisteds. Floor Events such as Blackouts or Ichor Leaks can also occur starting from Floor 3, and their chance increases as you go deeper.
Machine count starts at 2 and scales upward; maximum per floor is 20 (25 on Dyle's Floor).
Twisted count starts at 2 and scales upward; maximum is 8 in full lobbies, 6 in solo runs.
Break Room spawns every 25 floors, no Twisteds, only 2 machines to complete before moving on.
Dyle's Floor a challenge floor triggered by voting the TIME'S UP Card on any odd-numbered floor from Floor 9 onward; completing it rewards 50 maximum Stamina for the rest of the run.
Floor Events Blackouts and Ichor Leaks start at a 5% chance on Floor 3, rising 2% every two floors up to a maximum of 30% at Floor 16.
Warehouse and Gift Shop floors these floor types only begin appearing from Floor 6 onward.
07
Earning Ichor and spending it well
Check
In shortEvery floor you clear and every capsule you grab moves you closer to the next Toon or Trinket.
Ichor is the main currency and the only way to unlock most Toons and Trinkets without spending Robux. Two sources reliably generate it during a run: completing machines and picking up Research Capsules. Tapes, earned by using items, are a separate currency spent only at Dandy's Elevator Shop during a run.
Pick up Research Capsules on every floortwo Ichor each, and they also reveal Twisted information.
Use items during a run rather than saving themevery use earns Tapes you can spend mid-run at Dandy's Elevator Shop.
Check Dandy's Store between runs for new Toons and Trinkets.

Badges worth aiming for
Tips
In shortBadges double as a natural progression checklist — working toward them teaches the game's deeper mechanics along the way.
Badges are earned by hitting specific milestones in play. Some unlock the moment you join for the first time, while others take hundreds of hours. The Alpha Player badge, earned by playing during the current Alpha phase, is confirmed to give a reward when the game reaches full release.
Tips worth knowing
Welcome to Dandy's World and Alpha Player unlock automatically on your first session — no extra effort needed.
Floor milestone badges sit at Floor 10, 25, 50, and 100.
Machine and item badges stack across all runs, so consistent play unlocks them naturally over time.
Stealth Mission — complete a floor without being spotted by a Twisted.
Hissy Fit requires beating Dyle's Floor while playing as Shrimpo specifically.
Center of Attention — get chased by six Twisteds at once.
09
Redeem codes and where to enter them
Step
In shortCodes give free Ichor and other rewards and are entered at the computer near Dyle's Store in the lobby.
Codes are issued for milestones and events and expire after a set time, so redeem them as soon as you find them. Codes are not case-sensitive, so typing in lowercase works just as well as uppercase. The only permanent code is ICHOR.
Open Dandy's Worldlaunch the game and wait until you are in the lobby.
Find the computerlook for the machine near Dyle's Store with a sign reading 'Redeem Codes Here!'.
Click the computera redemption GUI appears at the bottom-left of your screen.
Type the code and press Redeemthe reward (Ichor, event currency, or a skin) arrives immediately.
Check back regularlymost codes are limited-time and cannot be recovered once they expire.

Common questions
FAQ
Can I get new Toons without spending Robux?
Yes. Clearing floors and picking up Research Capsules earns Ichor, and Ichor can be spent in Dandy's Store on new Toons and Trinkets. Using items during a run also earns Tapes, which can be spent at Dandy's Elevator Shop for more items mid-run.
Why do more Twisteds appear on later floors?
The number of machines and Twisteds on each floor scales with how many floors the group has passed and how many players are still alive. The maximum is eight Twisteds in a full lobby, or six in a solo run.
Is the game finished?
No — Dandy's World is currently in Alpha, which means bugs and unexpected shutdowns can happen. The developers ask players to report bugs to the BlushCrunch Studio server, and updates change the game regularly.
Do codes expire, and are they case-sensitive?
Most codes are time-limited and cannot be recovered once they expire, so redeem them as soon as you find one. Codes are not case-sensitive, so lowercase and uppercase both work fine.
What happens when Dyle's Floor appears?
Dyle's Floor is voted in by choosing the TIME'S UP Card on any odd-numbered floor from Floor 9 onward. It has 25 machines and includes Twisted Dyle alongside three other Twisteds. Finishing it rewards every surviving player with 50 extra maximum Stamina for the remainder of the run.
