Movement techniques worth mastering

Step
In short Practice each technique before trying to combine them in a real match.

Each technique below has a specific input.

  1. Dash move in any direction, then press Q to burst out of danger quickly.
  2. Double Jump jump a second time while airborne to gain extra height.
  3. Ground Smash double jump, then click immediately to slam the ground.
  4. Shield counter press or hold F; if you time it right as an attack lands, the opponent gets stunned.
  5. Tech the moment you hit the ground after a knockback or down-slam, press Shield to trigger a Tech recovery.
  6. Shift Lock + Dash turn on Shift Lock with the Shift key so your dash goes exactly where you aim.

Card packs and what they contain

Tips
In short There are seven packs, all sharing the same rarity odds.

There are seven packs: Offense, Defense, Utility, Risky, Justice, Element, and Control. Every pack shares the same rarity odds — 57.5% Rare, 35% Epic, and 7.5% Legendary — and each unbox gives you one card. Offense packs focus on dealing damage; Defense packs reduce damage taken; Utility packs boost your base moves like Dash and Ability; Risky packs offer high-reward cards that come with serious drawbacks.

Tips worth knowing
  • Offense Pack costs $750 and holds damage and attack cards like Fiery Fist, Force Strike, and Blitz Fists.
  • Defense Pack costs $750 and holds protective cards like Iron Skin, Iron Boots, and Guardian's Grace.
  • Utility Pack costs $750 and holds stat-and-keybind boosters like Riposte, Life Leech, and Teleport.
  • Risky Pack costs $800 and holds high-risk cards like Glass Cannon, Blood Pact, and Mutual Destruction.
  • The Mystery Pack gives any card or Fist Effect and can be obtained free by joining the developer group and liking the game.
05

Cards to understand early

Tips
In short A few cards have unusual rules that will surprise you if you do not know them going in.

Most cards simply adjust a number, but a handful have interactions that change how you play the whole match.

Tips worth knowing
  • Glass Cannon gives a massive damage boost but cuts your max HP by 50 — your health floor is 1, so the card cannot kill you on its own.
  • Blood Pact raises walkspeed, damage, critical hit chance, and knockback, but it constantly drains your health the farther you stand from an enemy.
  • Guardian's Grace heals you whenever you successfully shield, turning your defensive moves into recovery tools.
  • Fist Effect cosmetics from the Fist Effect pack cost $850 in the shop or can come from daily rewards — they change your hand's appearance only.
06

Rules that will get you banned

Warn
In short Three behaviours result in a ban, so avoid them entirely.

The game's own description is explicit about what is not allowed.

Worth watching out for
Teaming grouping up with others to gang up on a single player is a bannable offence.
Farming using any method to gain rewards artificially rather than through normal play is banned.
Exploiting taking advantage of bugs or third-party tools to break the game will get your account removed.

Glossary

Glossary

A one-on-one fight, which is the core format of every match in Fortune Fighters.
Tech
A recovery move triggered by pressing Shield the moment you hit the ground after a knockback or down-slam.
Ground Smash
An attack performed by double jumping and then clicking immediately.
Shift Lock
Roblox's built-in camera lock toggled with the Shift key, which makes dash direction easier to control.
Stun
A temporary state where the opponent cannot act, caused by timing a Shield block correctly against an incoming hit.
Fist Effect
A cosmetic aura on your hand that has no effect on stats or gameplay.

Common questions

FAQ

How do I trigger a Tech?

Press Shield at the exact moment your character hits the ground after being knocked back or down-slammed.

Can I play on a controller or phone?

Yes. Every action has a controller button and a tap UI button in addition to the keyboard input. Punch is X, Dash is B, Shield is L2 or R2, Ability is Y, and Emote is D-Pad Right.

What is the Fist Effect pack and how do I get one?

Fist Effect packs contain cosmetic auras that appear on your hands during fights but do not affect your stats. You can buy one in the shop for $850 in-game cash or receive one through daily rewards.

What happens if I stack Blood Pact with Glass Cannon?

Glass Cannon reduces your max HP to as low as 1, and the Blood Pact's passive health drain cannot kill you because your health cannot drop below 1 from the card's effect alone. The tradeoff is that you will die in a single hit from any opponent.
