Picking your vehicle at the start
StepWhen the game loads you into Tornado Blox, several vehicles are available before any tornado reaches you. Cars keep you close to the ground. Planes let you escape upward, which is a completely different escape route.
- Look around spot the available vehicles before the storm gets close.
- Pick your style choose a car if you want to stay on the ground, or a plane if you want the option to climb.
Surviving the tornado
TipsThe tornadoes move through different areas of the map and will devastate anything in their direct path. Getting caught means your vehicle is destroyed and your run ends. Staying aware of where the storm is heading is the core survival skill.
- Watch the tornado's direction before you commit to a route, not after.
- Move perpendicular to its path or at a straight angle away.
- If you are in a plane, climbing above the storm is a valid escape that ground vehicles cannot use.
- Multiple tornadoes can spawn in the same session, so surviving one does not mean the danger is over.
Chasing and observing storms
TipsSurvival is not the only way to play. The game is built around observing tornadoes up close, and there is real enjoyment in trailing a storm and watching what it does to the neighborhood.
- Trail the tornado at a distance where you can see it clearly but still have time to react if it turns.
- Rotate the camera to take in the full size and shape of the twister from different angles.
- Different tornadoes vary in intensity, so compare how each one tears through buildings and sends debris flying.
- Your Tornado Chasing Vehicle is built for exactly this role.
What to expect from repeated play
SummaryTornado Blox does not have rankings to climb or a win condition to reach. The loop is the point: spawn, pick a vehicle, survive or chase, repeat. The randomness of each storm means no two sessions play out the same way.
- Replay value tornadoes spawn and move differently every session.
- No paywall driving, surviving, and observing storms are all available without spending anything.
- No ranking pressure there is no leaderboard pushing you to compete.
- Multiple vehicles several options are free to use and you can switch between runs.
- Original version a separate original Tornado Blox also exists.
